a few weeks had passed since niall and ally found out they were having another baby, and just as she hit the twelve week mark, they were beginning to tell people.

it had been incredibly difficult keeping such a secret from the people she tells everything to but they had a plan that was bound to make eyes teary.

she had decided to tell luke, quinn and violet a little bit earlier simply because she wanted to focus on their reactions up close rather than being surrounded by lots of other people.

they had invited their closest family and friends over under false pretences, them all thinking it was a small get together since they haven't saw eachother in a while.

at around 3pm, they all started arriving, first was luke and lily, his new girlfriend who is also ally's high school friend and dress maker. next, niall's family came barging in, in the best way of course. the one direction boys, including some of their family, came in next, immediately getting on with everyone.

and of course quinn, violet, jude and mimi were fashionably late, but not by too much. they claimed 'traffic was bad' but yet everyone else said there wasn't a car on the road.

as soon as harry's wife, madeline, came in with her three month old baby, ami, she knew she would only see her little girl when she was hungry. she knew ally would take her, insisting madeline needed to rest, but that was only because she wanted to cuddle the baby endlessly.

and that is exactly what she did.

at one point niall had to take the baby away from her just so they could tell their family about their news.

"okay," niall began, getting the attention of the room. "game time?"

a chorus of "yeah" echoed through the living room, ally's nerves spiking at the realisation of what was happening.

they began with a few games of hangman, everyone taking it in turns to pick a word.

soon it was niall and ally's turn.

letters were being guessed from every direction, all of them being as competitive as each other.

eventually, a shout from zayn alerted the group; it was clear he knew what it was saying.

"does that say 'we are having a baby'?" he questioned skeptically.

as soon as niall filled the missing letters in, and everyone figured out what was going on, the room erupted in cheers, tears streaming down niall's mum's face as she hugged her son like there was no tomorrow.

congratulations came from every direction, an array of joy encompassing the room.

soon, madeline came up to ally immediately congratulating her saying she had a feeling she was pregnant when ally was being extra clingy with baby ami.

as ally watched on in joy, luke came up and hugged her. no warning, just pure love shared between a brother and a sister.

suddenly, quinn came barrelling into the hug, all three hayes siblings sharing a special moment together.

"i'm so proud of you, lor," luke said as tears slowly trickled down his face.

"oh luke," ally sobbed. she would blame it on the hormones one hundred per cent.

later on in the night, niall, penny and ally were curled up in the cosy living room watching and endless list of films while niall's hand rested on ally's small bump.

penny must have knew something was going on because she was being extra protective over her mother, always laying her small head on her bump.

as niall took in the picture-perfect scene, he realised this was all he ever wanted; the love of his life laying next to him carrying his baby. he couldn't wait until he had that baby in his arms.
