Jhune's POV
Damn, I really messed up. I can't believe I did that.
I massaged my temple in frustration. All this thinking was driving me crazy.
I was currently at Sun's place, sitting at the table near the window. I stared blankly outside, watching the passersby across the street.
The shop was pretty empty today. Usually, this place was packed with people coming for coffee. But it wasn't just coffee that sun offers, this shop also turned into a bar at night, selling liquor and stuff.
I was still lost in my thoughts when I sensed someone sat in front of me. When I turned to look, it was just Sun.
He placed a cup of steaming coffee on the table. I frowned when I saw the matcha-flavored cake he brought along with it.
"Seriously?" I looked at him, confused. "A cake?" I questioned in disbelief.
He looked at me with dead eyes. Holy shit. The bags under his eyes seemed to have darkened.
"Don't even get me started," he sighed, crossing his arms over his chest.
"What's up with the clothing?" he asked, referring to the turtleneck long sleeve I was wearing. "It's not even cold, and yet you're covered all over?"
I looked away and unconsciously pulled the fabric on my neck to make sure he wouldn't see the marks there.
Damn it! It was all that alpha's fault!
"No particular reason. I heard this is a new trend nowadays." Obviously, that was a lie.
"You look so tired," I said, noticing how restless he looked. That was a genuine question. Perhaps it was just me avoiding the topic.
He looked like he hadn't slept enough. He looked more tired than usual.
"Some customer caused trouble last night, he made quite a ruckus," he told me.
"Quite rough, huh?" I shrugged.
"Not as much as you do." he said, making me frown. He looked at me with suspicion.
"What do you mean?" I replied as I sipped my coffee.
I heard him take a deep breath. With his hand placed under his chin, he looked at me.
"I wish I could revert my aging," he said. "I miss having rough sex."
When I heard what he said, I automatically spat out my coffee. I coughed many times, almost choking.
"Fuck!" I cursed, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. "What the hell, Sun?!" I said, irritated.
He shrugged as if he hadn't done anything to make me react like that.
"Wow," he mumbled. "That's quite a reaction."
"S-shut up," I averted my gaze.
I could see out of the corner of my eye a mischievous smile forming on his face. He seemed to enjoy teasing me.
"So," he paused. "Who's the guy?"
"Stop it. It's not what you think." I said, still trying to avoid his question.
"You showed up in my shop without a word, you keep spacing out for no reason, and now you're telling me nothing is going on?" he said, shrugging.
It's too late to even deny it. Sun really has a way of squeezing information out of me. I wonder why he chose to be a bar owner when he could just as easily be a prosecutor.
