Jhune's POV

Zack…

I blinked several times, wondering if I was just imagining things. I wanted to pinch myself to see if this was real.

Everything happened so quickly that my brain couldn’t keep up. I stood there, frozen, staring at him.

I was so caught up in the moment that I didn’t even notice until he started pulling me along. I couldn’t stop staring at his back, wondering why he had suddenly appeared. He always seemed to show up when I least expected it.

"Zack," I called out. "What are you doing here?" I asked, confused.

He didn’t respond. I couldn’t explain it—something felt off. I had so many questions, and I knew this is the only chance to ask them.

The hallway we walked down was quiet. Aside from the pounding of my heart and the sound of our footsteps, there was nothing else.

I pressed my lips, "Wait, Zack." I tried to stop him. "Why are you here?" I asked him, but he still didn’t answer. Frustration bubbled up inside me.

He couldn’t just drag me around like this without saying a word. He still owed me an explanation, and ignoring me wasn’t helping.

I stopped walking and pulled my hand free from his grip. "What’s your problem?!" I said, my voice sharper than I intended.

He stopped on his tracks, turning slightly his emotionless eyes meet mine.

I let out a bitter smile, biting my lip to hold back my emotions from bursting. "If you're not going to say anything, just leave me alone."

I didn’t know what to feel anymore. Perhaps, I am disappointed. I was relieved to see him,

But, he had no right to show up out of nowhere and just act like this.

"You still owe me an explanation. If you can’t talk to me properly, don’t bother at all. You can’t just pull me around whenever you feel like it." I looked away, my voice faltering slightly.

I turned to leave. "I have things to do. I don’t have time for this."

I barely took a step before he grabbed my arm again.

"Please..." he pleaded "Let’s talk," .

I turned back, ready to snap at him, but the desperate look in his eyes made me froze.

My chest tightnened. I averted my gaze, shaking my head. "If you want to talk, we’ll do it here."

He sighed in frustration. "Let’s go somewhere else."

"No." I said firmly.

"Jhune..." he whispered, his voice almost breaking. "Please, just a little—"

I cut him off. "If you don’t have anything to say, I’ll go." My voice was cold as I tried to pull my arm free, but his grip only tightened.

I yelled in frustration, "What the hell, Zack? Let me go!"

"I want to talk, and I'm taking you with me right now," he said firmly, tugging me closer.

"What’s wrong with you?!" I snapped, trying to pull away.

"Why are you being so difficult?!" His voice rose unexpectedly, startling me.

He also froze at what he did.

"S-sorry..." he muttered, loosening his hold on my arm. "I didn’t mean to... Please, just come with me." His face softened.

I clenched my fist and avoided his gaze, stepping back.
