We brought Muchi to Cid without much trouble; in fact, Omega even enjoyed riding on top of the Rancor.
I was still wondering how we managed to fit this thing in our ship.
Cid seemed pleased with us, and she declared that she would stay true to her word.
And she did.
After Muchi was given back to a person who I strongly thought was a Hutt, she came to the back of her parlor with us and gave us the credits. It was not that much, considering what we went through, but it was enough for a moderate pay grade.
"Alright, I have another mission for you boys. And girls," Cid said, beckoning is to the form of her parlor, "are you aware what a tactical droid is?"
When nobody answered, Cid started to explain, but Tech seemed to start panicking.
"They were-..." Cid began, but Tech quickly interrupted, "they were the military brains behind the separatists-..." Cid interrupted again, "yeah, yeah, yeah, this is my briefing, Goggles. The point is, is that theirs valuable information with one of them, someone is paying well for you to get that tactical droid. Retrieve it from these coordinates, and bring it to me."
Once Cid walked away, I got to fully enjoy what just happened with Tech. He straight up panicked?
"So, Goggles, you straight up panicked when she was giving away information you had!" I joked, playfully nudging Tech's shoulder.
He scowled, but gave me a smile.
"So, where are we going for this one?" I walked up to Hunter, "anywhere fun."
"A factory," he responded, "so... no."
I rolled my eyes, "there's absolutely nothing fun about this mission."
"Well you know how these missions turn out," Hunter started to walk past me, "something always goes wrong."
We all boarded our ship and plotted the coordinates to this... factory. Hunter briefed us on the situation, saying that there was minimal guard, and that it should be an easy mission. Hopefully, he was right about that.
"So, what are settling for? Are we getting just the head?" I asked, looking at Echo.
"If we can get the entire thing, yes, but all we really need is the head." Echo explained, "and if the head isn't fully intact. That sucks for Cid's employer."
I laughed, and turned my attention back to space. I watched as the brilliant streaks of blue in white pulled our ship along in Hyperspace.
"It's such an interesting thing... hyperspace. It's so strange that the people of Earth haven't been able to figure it out... hmm... anyway, I'm going to go entertain myself right now," I rambled, and started to make my way to my corner.
"Don't start a horror game!" Tech called to me, "we don't have enough time for that!"
"Relax, I was just going to play on my phone anyway. Oh, how I would kill to draw and write on an iPad right now." I sighed into the corner of the ship.
Omega walked up to me with a ridiculous smile on her face, "have you got games on yo phone?"
Both of us burst out laughing from that
"Actually, I don't know if I'm ashamed or happy that I do have some. Come watch!" I offered, sitting so that Omega could see.
After a few small laughs and giggles about comments Omega made about the game adds, we had finally begun to drop out of hyperspace.
"We are beginning to drop from hyperspace," Tech said, "we're approaching the factory now."
"Aw man..." I said as I got up and stretched, "but that's my favorite part!"
"We don't have time for your favorite parts," Echo looked at me, "come on!"
I yawned, and walked into the cockpit, "what's the planet look like? Dirtier than the last one? How?? What were they thinking?! It's not like someone said, HeY I hAvE a ChAlLeNgE fOr YoU! We NeEd To MaKe ThE dIrTiEsT pLaNeT iN tHe KnOwN uNiVeRs!"
Everybody started laughing, including myself.
"And they're like, 'AiGhT. BeT! ChAlLeNgE aCcEpTeD," I said in between laughs, "Jesus Christ... why?"
"It's very difficult for even me to find a planet, with worse hygiene than you and Wrecker Y/n." Tech said as he walked away.
"HEY!" I called back, "I AM CLEAN!"
He did not respond, but everybody else was like, 'LMAO!'
"Not funny..." I grumbled, and waited a little before making this comment, "okay it was very funny, but that doesn't make it good."
"Sorry to spoil all the fun we're having, but we're about to land." Echo said, touching my shoulder with a smile on his face.
I groaned, "nnnnoooooo.... I don't wanna...."
"Stop being a kid, Kid. Let's just get this over with," Hunter chuckled softly and went to get Tech.
He came back quickly with him, and Tech landed the ship.
"Everyone, before we go out, remember, this is a stealth mission. We don't need to alert the presence of guards right now. We just need to get the package, and go. Tech, we're going to make a copy of that data... just in case." Hunter ordered.
"Affirmative," Tech returned, nose in his data pad.
"Okay, but this is totally like Heads or Roll right?" I asked as we started to get out of the ship.
"UGH Y/n!" I heard multiple brothers saying that.
I chuckled softly, and walked up to them, "what should I do?"
Hunter paused, "you need to find the highest point you see, and alert us when you see something suspicious. It could be anything, workers, police droids, rogue droids, anything. Just let us know."
"You got it," I said, and took my place beside Tech.
We snuck to the edge of the factory before we came upon a problem.
"How are we going to get up there? It's the only way in," Echo asked, "y/n?"
"Ten steps ahead of you Echo," I responded as I jumped up there, "I'll get the ladder."
I walked up to the ladder that was inactive, pulled the safety, and sent the ladder down, slowly. It was not very quiet because the metal was so old, but nobody was complaining to me about it.
"Right, now we have to do that actual hard stuff," I said once everybody was safely on the lift next to me.
