As we finally penetrated the Venator shuttle, we began to make our way towards the medbay. We encountered a ravine with no clear way across.
"This way?" I looked at Rex.
He nodded, "this is the quickest way there."
"Hmm..." I can fly us across," I said, "or you could use a grapple gun and crawl along the wire."
"Flying would be faster," Omega was eager to fly again.
"Yes, but the ceiling is very close, and to carry us all at once would mean you would probably hit something," Rex seemed to be pondering other options.
"Who said all at once?" I asked, "I can take a few a trip, it'll be simple and easy."
Rex shrugged, "alright, whatever you think."
I transformed again, and started hovering in front of the cliff, allowing anyone to easily walk onto me. Omega was first, followed by Hunter. Both of them found a place on my back; I flew up a little, allowing me to grab Rex in my front talons. I lifted everyone easily to the other side, and set them down quickly.
I jumped from the ledge again, and flew to the other side to grab the others. I decided that I should take Tech and Echo separately from Wrecker, since he was the biggest clone here.
After another successful trip, I turned back to grab Wrecker. He got onto my back and uneasily settled in between my secondary and primary dorsal fin.
"How you doing there Wrecker?" I asked with mild concern.
"Just don't look down," he told himself, "I'm fine."
I rolled my eyes, "right."
I continued to fly, but just as I was about to reach the other end, some things sent out huge tentacles towards me, grabbing my limbs. I roared in surprise, and automatically bit one of the tentacles. That one let go, but the others were still latched on. Wrecker shot up in surprise, and started to cut one of the tentacles on my hind leg. Right now, my right forearm, and left hind leg were free.
I growled, twisted my body, and bit the other tentacles, successfully freeing myself. It tried to launch more at me, but I was faster than it; I flew to the other side, but mistakenly bit Wrecker's arm in the process.
"Hey," he said with more annoyance than actual pain, "friendly target."
"Sorry," I said quickly as I set Wrecker down, "let me see it."
I examined it closely, and untransformed, "it's not a bad wound."
"You could've bit his arm off!" Rex exclaimed.
"It's happened before," Wrecker shrugged.
"Before?!" Rex seemed more alarmed than ever, "how did you not bite his arm off?"
"Even when you're me, with jagged teeth with small barbs and a firm, tough jaw, it takes more force than that to bite someone's arm off," I shook my head, "let me try something..."
I hovered my hand over Wrecker's arm, and concentrated. Slowly, a bright, whitish-green glow emanated from my hands; mending Wrecker's wound so that it no longer bled as fast.
"It isn't perfect, and it still needs a bandage, but it should be fine now," I nodded to him.
Wrecker gasped, "since when could you do that?!"
"Uh..." I probably looked like I was in a life crisis, "I just kinda... did it."
Rex rolled his eyes, "just now?"
Tech frowned, "that would've been useful before."
"I agree, but not for myself," I shrugged, "that's not how healing works."
