Unveiling the Enigma
________

Jennie woke up with a sense of dissatisfaction gnawing at her. The events of the previous night replayed in her mind, the confrontation with Jackson, the vulnerability she felt, and the way she had to rely on Taehyung and the others. It left her feeling frustrated and determined. She had to be better. She had to be stronger.

She slipped out of bed, the early morning light filtering through the curtains. Silently, she dressed in her workout gear: black leggings, a fitted tank top, and her hair pulled back into a tight ponytail. She glanced at the mirror, her eyes steely with resolve.

Making her way through the mansion, she remembered Taehyung’s tour from the day before. He had shown her the training rooms, a state-of-the-art facility designed for the Dark Ravens to hone their skills. As she reached the door, she took a deep breath and stepped inside.

The training room was expansive, filled with various equipment: punching bags, weights, mats for sparring, and a range of weapons. Jennie’s eyes scanned the room, and she immediately felt a surge of determination. This was where she would push herself beyond her limits.

She started with the punching bag, wrapping her hands tightly before delivering a series of powerful blows. Each punch was fueled by the memory of Jackson’s attack, the humiliation she felt, and the need to prove to herself that she was stronger than any adversary. Her fists moved in a blur, striking the bag with precision and force.

Next, she moved to the weights, her muscles burning with each lift. She pushed herself harder than ever, her breath coming in sharp, controlled bursts. She knew she couldn’t afford to show any weakness, not here, not with the Dark Ravens. The weights clanged as she set them down, her body already feeling the strain.

Sweat dripped down her face as she moved to the sparring mat. Jennie practiced her kicks, each one delivered with deadly accuracy. Her movements were fluid, a perfect blend of strength and grace. She executed a series of high kicks, her body twisting in the air, each kick landing with a satisfying thud on the padded dummy.

Finally, she approached the weapons rack. She picked up a set of throwing knives, the cold metal familiar in her hands. Jennie took her stance, her eyes focused on the target across the room. With a swift motion, she hurled the knives, each one embedding itself perfectly in the center of the target.

Hours passed, but Jennie didn’t stop. She pushed herself harder, her body screaming in protest, but she ignored the pain. She couldn’t afford to be complacent. She couldn’t afford to be weak. The memory of Jackson’s leering face spurred her on, driving her to train with relentless intensity.

Finally, she dropped to the mat, her chest heaving, her body drenched in sweat. She lay there for a moment, her eyes closed, feeling the burn in her muscles and the satisfaction of knowing she had given it her all. She would not be caught off guard again. She would not show weakness. Jennie Kim, known in the underworld as Ruby, was determined to become an unstoppable force.

As she lay there, the door to the training room creaked open. She didn’t have to look to know who it was. The presence was unmistakable.

“Training hard, I see,” Taehyung’s voice was soft, almost admiring.

Jennie didn’t respond immediately, her breathing still heavy. She finally opened her eyes and sat up, wiping the sweat from her brow. “I have to be better,” she said simply, her voice firm.

Taehyung nodded, his gaze intense. “You’re already one of the best. But I understand the need to push yourself.”

She stood, facing him with a determined look. “I can’t let what happened last night happen again. I won’t be a liability.”

“You’re not a liability, Ruby,” he said, using the name she was known by. “You’re a valuable member of this team. And we all have moments where we need to prove ourselves, to ourselves more than anyone else.”

Jennie held his gaze, appreciating his words but not fully absorbing them. She knew she had to keep pushing, keep training. She had to be the best.

“Thanks,” she said finally, her voice softer.

Taehyung nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. “Take a break. You’ve earned it.”

She nodded back, watching as he left the room. Jennie knew she had a long way to go, but she also knew she wouldn’t stop until she reached her goal. She would train harder, become stronger, and ensure that she was never vulnerable again.

After the encounter with jennie, Taehyung retreated to his office, his mind preoccupied with thoughts of Jennie. Her relentless determination and the fire in her eyes impressed him, but he also sensed a hidden vulnerability beneath her cold exterior.

As he settled into his chair, there was a knock on the door. "Come in," Taehyung called.

The door opened to reveal Suga, his expression as inscrutable as ever.
Suga took a seat, his eyes sharp and focused. "I've already started looking into her background. But she's extremely private. I've managed to find only a few details so far." He handed Taehyung a file.

Taehyung opened the file and began to read:

- **Name**: Jennie Kim
- **Mafia Name**: Ruby
- **Family**: Mother alive, father unknown
- **Address**: Unknown

Taehyung's brow furrowed as he read the sparse information. "This isn't much to go on," he said, looking up at Suga.

Suga nodded. "She's good at covering her tracks. It took me a while to even find this much. The girl is a ghost. She moves silently, leaves no traces. It's impressive, actually."

Taehyung closed the file and leaned back in his chair. "It only makes me more curious about her. Why is she so private? What is she hiding?"

Suga shrugged. "Everyone has their reasons. But whatever they are, she’s clearly someone who values her privacy and knows how to protect it. She’s a professional."

Taehyung tapped his fingers on the desk, deep in thought. "Keep digging, Suga hyung. I need to know more about her. If she's going to be part of this team, I need to know who I'm working with."

Suga nodded. "I'll keep looking. But it might take some time. She's not an easy one to crack."

Taehyung sighed, knowing that patience was key. "Thanks, Suga hyung. I appreciate your work on this."

Suga stood up, his presence as calm and composed as ever. "No problem, Tae. I’ll keep you updated."

As Suga left the room, Taehyung sat back, staring at the file. Jennie Kim, or Ruby as they knew her, was a mystery. A fierce, determined, and highly skilled mystery. He couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more to her story, something hidden beneath the surface. And he was determined to find out what it was.
