The early morning light filtering through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the secluded clearing where Taehyung's safe house was hidden. Inside, the atmosphere was tense yet focused as all the Dark Ravens members gathered in the main room.

The Safe House

Taehyung stood at the head of the table, a map of the area spread out before him. Jennie was beside him, her eyes sharp and determined. Around the table sat Jimin, Suga, Jisoo, Lisa, Rosé, Jungkook, RM, J-Hope, and Jin, each one alert and ready for action.

"Alright, everyone," Taehyung began, his voice calm but commanding. "We've confirmed that the Vultures are behind the attack on our mansion. They're old rivals of ours, and their new leader is Kai. Some of their main members include Mark, Jackson, Bambam, and Taemin."

A murmur went through the group as they absorbed this information. Taehyung continued, "Very recently, the old boss of the Vultures handed his position to his son, Kai. This transition might give us a better chance to defeat them, but we still need to prepare well."

Jimin leaned forward, his expression serious. "What do we know about Kai's leadership style compared to his father's?"

Taehyung shook his head. "Kai is ambitious and ruthless, but he's also inexperienced. We can use that to our advantage. However, we can't underestimate him or his core team."

Jennie, her curiosity piqued, asked, "What was the name of the old leader? Kai's father?"

Taehyung's gaze turned somber. "Kim Jong-in."

Jennie's heart skipped a beat at the mention of the name. She kept her expression neutral, hiding the sudden surge of thoughts and doubts that filled her mind. Could it be the same Jong-in she had heard about before? She needed to meet this Kim Jong-in to clear her doubts but didn't let anyone know about her sudden thought.

"We need to be smart and strategic," Taehyung continued. "RM, Suga, and Jisoo, you'll work on fortifying this location and securing our communications. We can't afford another surprise attack."

RM nodded. "Understood. We'll make sure this place is impenetrable."

Taehyung's gaze swept across the room. "While the rest of us need to focus on training even harder. Jin, J-Hope, and Rosé, you three are our best shooters, so keep practicing. We need your skills sharp."

Jin nodded. "Got it. We'll be ready."

J-Hope and Rosé exchanged determined glances, their resolve evident.

Taehyung continued, "Jennie, Lisa, Jungkook, and Jimin, you guys will come with me. I have some special training planned for us."

Jennie felt a mix of anticipation and determination. She nodded, ready to face whatever Taehyung had in store. The others also nodded, each one prepared for the challenges ahead.

As the group dispersed to their assigned tasks, Taehyung approached Jennie. "You okay?" he asked quietly, his concern evident.

Jennie gave a small smile. "Yeah, just... focused."

Taehyung nodded, his eyes serious. "We'll get through this, together."

Jennie felt a surge of resolve at his words. Together, they would face whatever came their way and protect their family and each other.
