INTENSE FIGHT

_________

The team dispersed into the shadows, each member moving with precision and purpose. Jennie, Jungkook, and Rosé had their roles clearly defined, and the success of the mission depended on their flawless execution.

Jennie slipped around to the back of the bar, her movements silent and efficient. The back entrance was exactly as Taehyung had described—less guarded but still requiring vigilance. She picked the lock with practiced ease, the door swinging open soundlessly. Slipping inside, she activated the mini cam on her jacket, knowing that Taehyung and the rest of the team were watching her every move.

“Jennie, status report,” Taehyung’s voice crackled softly through her earpiece.

“I’m inside,” she whispered, moving through the dimly lit corridor. “Proceeding to secure the path.”

“Good. Stay sharp,” Taehyung replied, his voice a steady presence in her ear.

Jungkook and Rosé were handling their parts of the mission with equal skill. Jungkook had taken out the guards at the front entrance, his movements swift and deadly. Rosé was inside, setting up surveillance and neutralizing threats with her characteristic precision.

Jennie moved deeper into the building, her senses on high alert. She could hear faint footsteps and murmurs from the other rooms, but she avoided detection, her movements fluid and controlled. She reached the main storage area, her eyes scanning for any signs of the diamond.

“Jungkook, Rosé, status?” Taehyung’s voice came through again.

“Front entrance secure,” Jungkook reported, his breathing steady.

“Surveillance set up. No threats detected so far,” Rosé added.

Jennie’s eyes caught the glint of the diamond, placed on a pedestal in the center of the room. She approached it cautiously, her fingers deftly working to disarm the alarm system. Every second counted, and she knew the team was counting on her.

Just as she secured the diamond, a voice behind her made her freeze. “Well, well, what do we have here?”

Jennie turned, her eyes narrowing as she saw a man step out of the shadows. His smirk was predatory, his eyes scanning her with a mix of curiosity and malice. He was tall, with an imposing presence that spoke of confidence and danger.

“Who are you?” Jennie demanded, her voice cold and unwavering.

The man chuckled, taking a step closer. “Name’s Jackson. And you must be Ruby. I’ve heard about you.”

Jennie tensed, her hand moving towards her weapon. “Stay back.”

Jackson’s smirk widened, and before she could react, he lunged forward, his hand grabbing her arm with a surprising strength. Jennie struggled, her movements quick and fierce, but Jackson was prepared. He twisted her arm behind her back, forcing her against the wall.

“Let me go,” Jennie hissed, her voice laced with anger.

“Not so fast, sweetheart,” Jackson murmured, his hand sliding down her arm in a way that made her skin crawl. “You’re not going anywhere.”

Jennie’s heart pounded in her chest, a mix of fury and fear surging through her. She knew Taehyung and the others were watching, knew they would see everything happening to her. But she also knew she couldn’t afford to lose her composure. Not now.

“Jennie, what’s going on?” Taehyung’s voice was sharp, urgent.

“I’m handling it,” she replied through gritted teeth, her mind racing for a way out.
