Lost the baby

"Hang in there, Jennie," Taehyung whispered, his voice trembling with a mixture of fear and desperation. He glanced up at Irene, who was already reaching for the medical supplies. "Please, do something!"

"I'm trying," Irene replied sharply, her eyes focused on Jennie as she moved with swift, practiced precision. She checked her pulse, eyes narrowing at the faint, unsteady rhythm. "Her condition's bad, Taehyung. We need to stabilize her right now, but..."

Taehyung swallowed hard. "But what?"

"She's lost a lot of blood," Irene continued grimly, grabbing gauze and applying pressure to one of Jennie's deeper wounds. "I can't do much here. She needs proper medical attention, and fast. If we don't get her to a hospital soon-"

"No!" Taehyung cut in, his voice laced with panic. "We can't-he'll find her. They'll come after her again."

"We don't have a choice!" Irene shot back, her gaze fierce as she met his eyes. "If she doesn't get professional help, she won't make it, Taehyung. I'm doing everything I can, but... it's not enough."

Taehyung clenched his fists, his chest tightening painfully. The thought of losing her-of Jennie slipping away right in front of him-was unbearable. "No, no... there has to be something we can do. Think, Irene, please!"

"Taehyung, calm down," Irene snapped, her hands moving with careful precision as she applied a temporary IV line, trying to keep Jennie's vitals stable. "I'll keep her alive long enough to get her to safety, but we have to move. Now."

Taehyung hesitated, torn between fear and logic, his gaze darting between Jennie's still form and Irene's determined expression. Finally, he nodded, a sharp, jerky movement. "Okay. Okay. We go to the hospital, but we stay out of sight. No one else sees her. No one knows."

Irene didn't respond, too focused on stabilizing Jennie's condition. Sweat beaded her forehead as she adjusted the IV drip and cleaned Jennie's wounds as best as she could. Taehyung stayed by her side, one hand resting gently on Jennie's cold, trembling fingers.

"Stay with me, Jennie," he whispered softly, his thumb brushing lightly over her knuckles. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you. I promise

Taehyung's grip tightened around Jennie as he carried her into the private wing of the hospital he owned. Irene, moving briskly beside him, called out instructions to the waiting medical team. Jennie's face was pale, her breathing shallow, and the sight of her battered form made Taehyung's jaw clench with a quiet fury. He wasn't going to let her slip away, not now.

As they approached the intensive care unit, Taehyung whispered softly, "Stay with me, Jennie. Just a little longer."

Behind them, Jin and Rosé entered the hospital with Jennie's mother, who was barely conscious but stable enough to be moved. They quickly guided her into a separate room, making sure she was out of sight from anyone else who could compromise her safety.

Within moments, Irene and her team took over, assessing Jennie's injuries with expert hands. Taehyung remained in the doorway, refusing to leave as Irene worked. He watched each bandage, each procedure, every attempt to stabilize her. He couldn't shake the image of her bruised face and torn spirit, and the helplessness gnawed at him.

As Irene carefully examined Jennie, she noticed something odd-a subtle detail that raised a deep suspicion. She paused, her face growing serious. Taehyung, watching her every movement, immediately sensed the shift.

"What is it, Irene?" he asked, a hint of panic slipping into his voice. "Is something wrong? Is it serious?"

Irene glanced at him, her professional demeanor not wavering but betraying a hint of worry. "Taehyung, I need to run a few tests to confirm something. Please wait outside. I'll let you know as soon as I'm sure."
