isun clutched the blue and black flannel tighter, determined to finally talk to the black haired today. It had been two days after encountering the pink crustacean and he seemed to somehow vanish. They no longer hold tiny conversations by the window and even at school, he was like the wind- right there but impossible to catch. Misun stood by the gates, patiently waiting for him to walk out.
"Hey Seungmin!" Misun ran over to the taller, the second she spotted him.
The addressed looked away from his counterpart, he squinted his eyes, groaning when he noticed who was running up to him.
"Hi Misun," the brunet standing next to Seungmin waved at her, a bright beam on his face. The female remembers him to be a classmate, a nice one, unlike the shorter standing next to him. "Nice shirt," he complimented, gaze trailing down to the fabric she held.
"Hi Jinnie," She returned the gesture. "It's actually Seu-"
Seungmin's eyes dilated when he caught on to her words, the black haired quickly grabbed her arm, walking away with a confused Misun. "We'll talk later, Hyunjin," he pressed out, leading farther away from where they stood.
"Okay?" Perplexed, Hyunjin shrugged.
"Hey!" Misun kept her voice low, yanking her arm away from his grasp. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"I don't want you walking up to me, yeah?" Seungmin spoke the moment they got out of sight.
"I just wanted to return this," Misun tossed the shirt on him, so poorly it barely hung on his face. "And talk about what happened two days ago, you can see them too? And how did you do that? Why the hell.."
This was exactly why he didn't want to interfere with the situation, inevitably, it would drag unwanted attention and severe probing from her. Seungmin pressed her mouth shut with his hand, glaring. "You talk too much."
Misun slapped his hand away, frizzling. "Get your filthy hands off me."
"The hand that saved you?" Seungmin walked off, a steaming Misun behind him. She stomped her feet, upset because they were in public, she couldn't possibly hurt him right here. "What were you doing out so late at night anyway?"
"I- uh," Misun jogged a bit, catching up with him, wavering with her words. "I was taking a refreshing walk. What were you doing?" she deflected, glaring at the guy who looked bored, like always.
"Taking a refreshing walk, too." Misun huffed. He was infuriating as hell. And the fact that she still couldn't read his subconscious doubled how annoying he was. "You can't go walking around with phantoms swarming at night."
"Phan- what?"
Seungmin irked his brow. "Phantoms?"
"Is that what they're called?" Misun hummed. "Phantoms. Do you know what caused them?"
Seungmin shrugged, not giving an answer whatsoever. Truth be told he had no idea either, only noticing one blissful night that he could see weirdly shaped creatures and almost no one else can.
Did he care? Absolutely not.
Seungmin blinked out of his daze, realizing that Misun was still yakking off with questions after questions and this time she was querying about how quickly he took her away from the spider crab. "One second I was in the air and the ne-" Misun humph'd holding the shirt Seungmin had thrown on her face, she glared at the black haired that was already walking away.
"Stop going out at night, Misun."
