Ok guys, I won't be able to post until Sunday, possibly Monday.

Aegon goes to talk to Helaena. There is a little smut on the second part of the chapter. I hope you guys like it 🥰

Helaena finished braiding her hair, just like her father had taught her. It was only a little bit after midday, but she had no plans to do anything else for the day. She had gone dragon riding early in the morning, and taken a very much needed bath after she returned, and now she just wanted a bit of peace, to read a bit and maybe take a walk in the gardens later on. There were many exciting things that would be happening not too long from now. The king would be celebrating five and twenty years in the throne in a few weeks and there was a large feast and tourneys being organized. Lords from all over Westeros and even some from across the narrow sea would be visiting the capital in less than a moon and would bestaying for a while.

Her peace was disturbed when the doors to her chambers opened and Aegon walked in with an annoyed look on his face."The queen wants you to marry Jason Lannister, she brought it up during the council meeting earlier today."

Helaena raised an eyebrow as she turned to face her brother. "Good day to you also."

"Do not start with me." Aegon moved to where a jar filled with juice had been set and served himself some. "This is something we all need to worry about."

"I think you are worried enough for the both of us." She loved Aegon and the way he worried about her and their siblings. The man she had seen in her visions was someone very different, almost a monster, always searching for the love and approval of his mother in all the wrong places. This Aegon was different, he was strong and sure of himself, he was a man who knew he was loved and had grown up surrounded by a loving family. "You do not need to be so concerned, mamaand papa would never allow me to marry that horrible man."

"They might not have a choice." He took a sip of the juice, still looking worried. "You know that if the king decides to agree with that woman, there is nothing our parents will be able to do."

"It will be well, Aegon." She moved closer to her brother and ran a hand over his arm. "You know our parents, they will not allow us to be forced to make any decisions we do not want."

He shook his head. "I do not trust the queen or the Lannisters, they will not be happy to lose another princess."

"They will have to deal with the disappointment." She knew how bitter Jason Lannister was about the fact that her mother had rejected him on several occasions. "I will not marry that man, I can assure you of that."

Aegon smiled and cupped her face before kissing her forehead. Her brother had always felt responsible for all of them, since he was the oldest he felt like he had to protect them. Even Visenya, who scared him, but her little sister scared most people.

Their moment ended when the doors to her chambers opened a second time and Mansy walked in, carrying a tray with Helaena's midday meal. Aegon became as still as a statute when he took a good look at the red haired girl.

"Princess, I have brought..." Mansy's mouth snapped shut when she saw Aegon standing there and she flushed, giving her a guilty look. "I apologize, princess. I did not know you had company. I can return at a later time."

"That will not be necessary." She gestured for Mansy to move forward and smiled at her. "Mansy, this is my brother Aegon. Brother, this is Mansy, she is my new lady's maid and companion."

Mansy dropped into a perfect curtsy, balancing the tray perfectly. "My prince."

"Is a pleasure to meet you Mansy." Aegon gave her a curious look. "You look familiar. Have we met before?"
