We get a more in-depth look into Visenya's mind and why she is the way she is. Aegon looses his cool and goes off. I hope you guys like it. 🥰

Visenya looked up when the doors to the nursery slammed open and her mother stalked in. She did not have to look too hard to see that her mother was furious. Her face was bright red and her eyes were a bit wild , Visenya swore there was smoke coming out of her ears.

Her mother opened and closed her mouth several times, seeming to think what she wanted to say. There was fury in every word when she finally decided to speak. "What did you do?"

"I was just playing." She looked down at the soldiers her brother had gifted her before looking up at her mother. "Papa said I was allowed since he took my brothers to train and Helaena is in the gardens."

"You perfectly well that is not what I meant." Visenya did not say anything, knowing that her mother would not believe her words anyway. "What did you do to Mara?"

Visenya frowned and gave her mother a questioning look. "Who?"

"Do not play the fool with me." Her mother took her by the arms and stood her up, glaring at her with a fury that was almost scary, if she could feel fear. "I know that you were the one who would do something so horrible. How could you have cut off all her hair? What were you thinking?"

"I was not thinking anything , I did not do it." She yanked her arms out of her mother's hold and returned her glare. "I do not even know that girl , Ihave not done or said anything to her."

"So you want me to believe that she just woke up this morning will all her hair cut off without reason?" Her mother gave her a disbelieving look. "I know you have ways of getting around the castle without being seen. I should have known you would do something like this. What am I supposed to do with you, Visenya?"

She shrugged, not truly knowing how to answer. Visenya had known that she was not like other children, not even her siblings. She did not process things the same way they did, her emotions were not there in the same way. Visenya could read a book or document and recall it with exact precision moons, even years later. She had never forgotten a conversation, a story, or anything she had ever seen or heard. Her instructors always celebrated how smart she was, telling her she was much more advanced than any other child her age. But there was something else inside her besides her intelligence. She could not feel emotions like she had seen in other people. She had seen her mother, brothers, and father become sad when something happened to certain people. She had seen Helaena cry when she had seen a starving child, or a woman arriving at the shelter covered in cuts and bruises. Her sister had told her once that it was called empathy, feeling other people's pain and becoming sad. But Visenya did not feel pain, she did not have fear, and even love was a very scarce feeling.

Visenya only cared about her family, her mother, siblings, and her father. She felt anger when they were sad, anger towards those who had hurt them, and wish to punish those people. She felt happiness when her brothers did something good or when they played with her. She felt love for her family, but only for them and it was something she had to work at. Everyone else was insignificant. She knew that many people were afraid of her , including some of her siblings. While her mother and father were weary of what she could do, they had never looked at her with fear. But her mother's look was hesitant now and she hated it , she had never wanted her mother to be afraid of her.

She would never tell her mother, but she had been the one to cut Mara's hair. She had placed a tonic she stole from the healers in the girl's water, after watching her dance with Aemond. She had seen the way the girl looked at her brother and she did not like it. While she loved all her brothers, Aemond was special. He loved her unconditionally , he did not care that she was not like everyone else , on the contrary, he celebrated her differences. Aemond enjoyed spending time with her and the way her mind worked. He was the only person who understood her , she could not lose him. But she was not foolish enough to tell her mother that, she would never understand.
