"Do I know you?" Y/n spoke looking into his eyes.
Mingyu pulled Jungkook into a corner. "What's going on with her?" he asked urgently.
"I'm not sure," Jungkook replied, "I just found her like this."
"In this condition? How? Did she not fall off the cliff?" Mingyu pressed.
Jungkook shook his head, clearly frustrated. "I don't know. It's like she was pulled back alive. I can't figure out what happened."
Mingyu's expression darkened as he scanned the area. "We need to find out who or what could have done this. If she was saved, it means someone was watching over her."
"She doesn't remember anything," Jungkook said.
Mingyu furrowed his brow. "What about the scar around her mouth?"
Before they could continue, Y/n walked in, her eyes wide with concern. "Kook? Is something wrong? Did I do somethi..ng wr..ong?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Jungkook stepped forward, trying to reassure her. "No, you haven't done anything wrong princess. We were just trying to understand what happened."
Mingyu glanced at Y/n, his expression softening. "We're just worried about you. Do you remember anything at all from earlier?"
Y/n shook her head, her fear evident. "No, everything's a blur. I don't even know how I ended up here."
Jungkook and Mingyu exchanged a glance, deciding not to press Y/n further.
"We should let her rest," Mingyu suggested. "She's clearly exhausted and scared."
Jungkook nodded, guiding Y/n to her bedroom where she could lie down. Letting her rest Jungkook walked out of the room.
Mingyu started, "I think it's time to inform your family about Y/n. They need to know what's going on."
Jungkook looked uncomfortable. "I'm not sure. It's complicated. I don't want then to know about it until I have all the details yet."
Mingyu sighed. "But if this situation is as serious as it seems, they should be aware. They might be able to help or at least offer support."
"I know," Jungkook said, rubbing his temples. "But I don't want to alarm them without knowing more. I need to be sure before involving them."
Mingyu nodded understandingly. "Alright, but keep in mind that we may need their help sooner rather than later. Just think about it."
Jungkook nodded, lost in thought as he stared at the ground.
"I don't really know what to do. I'm just so scared of losing her again. I want her to be safe and away from the mafia world. I just want her to live a normal life. Isn't it enough that she's already suffered so much? How can I just hand her back to the people responsible for her condition? Look at her-she's covered in bruises and scars."
He took a deep breath, trying to steady his voice.
"I want to protect her, to make sure she never has to go through this kind of pain again. But I also know that keeping her away might not be the answer. I'm torn between wanting to shield her and giving her the freedom she deserves. I just need to find a way to help her heal and find peace without putting her in danger."
Jungkook's voice trailed off, his emotions overwhelming him. He clenched his fists, frustration and fear gnawing at him. The weight of the situation was almost too much to bear.
