atleast five months had passed and elodie hadn't spoken a word to oscar, max and Lacey had tried everything and nothing they said or could do made them speak.
the season was over and the grid had gotten past all their celebrations and now everyone was on their summer breaks, half the grid in England and half the grid in Monaco.
elodie was staying at her fathers apartment in Monaco, mainly sitting and reading on the balcony or walking around and admiring the cars.
her mind wandered back and forth from the situation with Oscar and she just shrugged it off and decided to take the summer to herself, focus a little on work, a little on uni and alot on babysitting for max and Lacey when they need.
over the summer she was still in charge of media management, so she would have the redbull boys stream and be active on all socials, she would create edits & little videos for them to post to keep fans engaged over the summer break.
on the other hand, oscar spent his summer break in australia with his family, away from his phone, thoughts & work.
although he was blanking all the work thoughts, his mind still found itself thinking about elodie, and how she finally admitted to him she liked him, and he just rejected her.
he wasn't sure why he rejected her, maybe he was scared, afraid, in denial?
whatever it was, he felt stupid.
that stupid he ended up speaking to his sisters about it, and after they laughed at him they sat him down and explained that him being uncomfortable about elodie and Logan, the jealousy he felt, the anger and all the denial was him finally getting to the realisation that he did infact, have feelings for her.
he considered maybe telling her when they return for the last half of the season, or maybe even ringing her or messaging, but every time he went to ring her , he let it ring twice and then hung up.
he would type out the messages and delete them.
oscar found himself throwing his phone across the room, frustrated within himself.
hr tried to ring lando but with no avail he got no response.
