I fall into Aaron's arms and almost sob. For a bit, I had forgotten everything. I forgot how much I love him and all of our memories together. When it all was back, I knew who I was again.

Aaron is a part of me now and he's never leaving. I'm not me without him. I'm so different from the girl I was before all of this.

He holds me in his arms, his hands tangling in my hair. "It's alright, love. I've got you."

After soaking in my reunion with Aaron, I look back, my eyes finding the people that did this to me. One of them was supposed to be my friend.

Carven, Adam, and Ian.

I look at Adam judging. "Do you have anything to say for yourself?"

Adam scoffs. "You're acting like I'm wrong about you betraying us for Warner. He's holding you in his arms."

Warner steps forward, giving Adam a deathly glare. "I should kill you, Kent. For everything you did. Lia is the only thing holding me back, so I'd watch your words around her."

He looks down at me. "Say the word and I'll do it."

"Aaron, no," I whisper.

Carven and Adam don't even seem to have the slightest bit of remorse. "Carven. I can't believe you were ever my friend. Don't think I will ever trust you. You're a monster."

He cocks his head to the side slightly. "Dont you think Warner is a monster?"

"No. And if you really think he is, you shouldn't have sold me off to the Reestablishment in the first place."

Carven laughs almost manically. "You can pretend Warner is your knight in shining armor all you want, but if you think I'm crazy for you, you should have seen him. He had everyone searching for you, and he would have killed me if I didn't deliver you."

I turn to Aaron. "I know he's lying."

Aaron doesn't deny anything.

"Dont you think his obsession with you is a bit strange? Don't you think he could give you to the Reestablishment easily?"

"Carven, I don't care. It would be better if you just left."

"Actually it would be better if you left," Adam interrupts.

Kenji smiles at me, Juliette at his side. "She doesn't have to go anywhere. Neither does her crazy boyfriend as much as I hate him."

Juliette is nodding in agreement.

Aaron looks disgusted. "You want to stay here, love?!"

I nod. "Kenji's here."

"I can't leave you. Not after what happened."

"Then stay."

"With them?"

"Please, Aaron." My hand brushes against his arm.

His eyes soften. "Fine."

Adam glances at Carven, his face scrunching up. Things didn't go his way, and he's not pleased. "You can't let her stay. This is my house. Warner can't stay! He'll kill all of us!"

Ian is nodding crazily fast. "Exactly."

"It's our safe house too, Adam. Or did you forget?" Juliette points out.

Warner looks intimidating, but controlled. "I won't kill any of you as long as you don't lay a hand on her."

Adam and Ian are still protesting while Juliette is showing us the spare room we can stay in. It's small, but I understand because we are only in Adam's tiny home.
