"We have to get back to the base, love. I have to continue my duties as Commander, and I need to know that you are protected," Aaron says.

I suddenly have an idea that will benefit Aaron and my friends. "Why don't we bring the Omega Point members back to the base? And then we can all combine our strength to take down your father."

Aaron raises an eyebrow, obviously displeased with the idea of people like Adam entering his base.

"You want them to come? After all they did to you?"

"Many of them did nothing, Aaron. Juliette and Kenji are my friends. Besides, I'm sure eventually Adam will come to his right mind when his jealousy washes over."

"They hate me, love. It's not like they'll come."

I smile, a bit of faith arising in me. "I have a feeling they'll change their minds when they find out that we can take down the Reestablishment with this."

Aaron hesitates, but nods at the pleading eyes that I give him. "Just know that I'm not doing this because I care about your friends. It's because I love you, Lia."

My cheeks warm up as he moves in closer. "I love you too, Aaron." I kiss him quickly and look towards the door of our room. "We can go tell them the news."

Aaron follows me down the stairs and I see a shocking sight. Castle is standing. Kenji told me that ever since Omega Point was destroyed, Castle was heartbroken and almost lifeless.

"Castle," I greet.

"Hello, Ms. Volt."

I see that the rest of the survivors are here too. Adam, James, Kenji, Juliette, Ian, Carven, Winston, Brendan, Lily, Alia...

"Listen, I know that everyone here wants to destroy the Reestablishment and avenge Omega Point. That is one thing that we all have in common."

I turn to Aaron, grinning big. "Aaron has offered to help us. He's granting space on the military base for all of you to stay and train to fight Anderson."

I see Kenji's face light up, and I immediately assume that he is good with the plan. "Holy shit. You're actually doing that? How can we trust him?"

Aaron stands composed and relaxed. "You can trust me because of Emilia. As long as she wants all of you to be protected, that's what I'll do."

"And we get to use all of your cool training equipment? Hell yeah!" Kenji exclaims.

Adam seems to have different thoughts. He stands next to his little brother, taking the information in. I still know that Aaron is his brother too.

"We can't just trust Warner after everything he did. I'm not going."

Juliette eyes Adam, her smile dropping. "Adam... Come on."

Adam clenches his fists together, staring me fire in the eyes. "I don't trust you either, Emilia. You and Warner can rot in hell together."

He storms off, James silently following behind him. I hope he can come around, because the Adam I first met back at the military base wouldn't act like this.

I think me choosing Aaron over him has left permanent dent in our friendship.

I've almost forgotten that Carven is in the room. Part of me thinks that he doesn't deserve a place in this plan, but how can I invite the others and not him?

Ian hesitantly nods. "I'm in. And I'm sorry for last night, Emilia. I don't like Warner but I shouldn't have lied."

Kenji laughs. "You might not want to say that out loud. He'll kill you."

My hand brushes against Aaron's. "He won't. I won't let him."

Aaron smirks only slightly, whispering into my ear. "I'd like to see you stop me, love."

By now, everyone has agreed to come to the base with us. Except Adam, who is controlling if James comes or not too.

I'm sitting on the couch, Juliette on my other side. Aaron is bringing transportation for all of us.

"Do you think Adam will come around?" I ask.

"He should. I know he's pretty heartbroken after your rejection, but you've forgiven him despite what him and Carven did. He has no reason to be mad anymore."

Juliette is right. Adam has held a grudge for far too long, and I've already dropped the one I had against him.

"I just think everyone hates me for loving Warner. I can't help it."

Juliette half smiles. "I don't see the good in him sometimes. But I see the way he loves you."

I laugh to myself, hugging my knees. "I never thought I'd fall for him. I was convinced that I'd hate him forever after he kidnapped me."

Juliette and I exchange glances. "But he was right all along. Aaron always told me that he felt a connection between us and I just ignored him every time."

We sit in silence for the next couple of moments, until I look over and see Kenji sitting on the armrest of the couch. He swings his legs around and rests them on top of me.

"Hey!" I exclaim.

"Sorry, princess."

I give up and let him rest his legs on me. "So, what are we talking about? Girly things?"

"Just about Warner," I answer.

Kenji grins goofily and looks at Juliette. "J, I've had to deal with all of her lovey dovey stuff since Day 1. Honestly, is it that hard for you to admit that you're obsessed with the man?"

"I'm not obsessed. I just really love him. You said you like hearing about my drama!"

"It's always, Warner this, Warner that. Sometimes we have to just talk about how amazing and handsome I am instead."

Juliette and I are trying to contain our laughter. Kenji leans in, smirking slightly at Juliette. "You think I'm handsome, don't you, J?"

"Kenji, I've told you no-"

He looks at me, shaking his head. "Rejection hurts."

I pay Kenji on the shoulder. "You'll get over it, Kenj."

"I'll be happy when you admit that you're obsessed with Warner."

"I'm not."

"Are."

"Fine, maybe I'm obsessed with Aaron. It's hard not to be."

There's a sound of boots walking towards us. Come on.

Aaron's grinning, standing there in the dim light looking absolutely stunning. "Talking about me, love?"

My face goes completely red. Kenji had to of known he was about to walk in. "Hi..."

I jump off the couch, looking down, embarrassed. "The car's here. Let's get outside, love."

"Wait- wha-"

Aaron throws me over his shoulder and I can't stop laughing. "Hey! Put me down!"

He tends to do that a lot. The others are beginning to follow outside, and as I look back I see Adam and James following too.

They're coming.
