Aaron Warner isn't who I thought he was. He disguised himself as a prince, but he truly is the villain in my story.

He kept me captive, and attempted to force me into loving him. I somehow fell for it, but then Carven was the one who brought me to my senses.

I'm with the most important members of Omega Point: Carven, Adam, and Ian. They are the ones who were able to get me away from Warner.

And Carven is the one I truly love.

There is a small pile of rope on the ground, and I'm sitting on a chair in Adam's basement. Carven is looking at me with what I now know to be pure love.

"Darling, are you ready? Ready to accept my love?"

I look into his dark eyes and he kisses me so strongly. I kiss him back, taking in memories that have just seemed to reappear in my mind.

Why did I ever leave him in the first place? He was the one I spent my life with before everything with Warner.

Adam looks at me. "Do you love Warner?"

I scoff. "God, no. He's a complete monster who brought on the downfall of Omega Point." Adam looks satisfied with my answer.

There's a set of footsteps coming down the stairs to the basement. Juliette Ferrars is staring at me in disbelief, her long hair falling down the back of her tank top.

"Emilia? You're here? No one told me you were coming."

Juliette is a member of Omega Point. I have nothing against her. In fact, I feel like I need to protect her. "Hi, Juliette. Sorry about everything with Anderson."

Adam approaches her. "Em is ready to help us again, Juliette."

She smiles at him with a small spark in her eyes. "That's good. But what about Warner?"

My body is programmed with disgust at the sound of his name. I feel a bubble of hatred rising. "We're going to destroy him and his pathetic father."

"You were saying how you were starting to trust him though. You felt for him. What happened?"

"I never felt for him. I was his weapon, and Carven helped me escape him."

Juliette's eyes narrow. She looks at Carven like he's a target, rather than a friend. I feel repulsed that she would dare think of my boyfriend negatively.

"I don't remember you ever helping Emilia. In fact, you were the one who betrayed her in the first place."

I feel shook. "Carven would never hurt me."

I get up out of the chair as his arm snakes around me. He whispers into my ear and says, "That's right, darling. I would never."

He starts to take me upstairs, the others following behind. Once Carven is distracted, Kenji pulls me aside. "When did Warner say he's coming? I shouldn't have let them do that to you, princess . I think I need his help."

"You do not need that monster's help. I'll tell Carven what you just told me."

"What is wrong with you, Em? You told me you loved Warner even if he is an asshole. You definitely don't love Carven."

"Yes, I do."

Suddenly, the door bursts open. I see the one person I hate the most. Warner. He's standing there all worried with his firm face and golden hair.

He's horrible. A menace to my life.

"Lia, are you okay?" He takes my face in his hands. "Love, I haven't heard from you at all."

I slap his hands away. "Get your filthy hands off me."

Warner looks confused, but I don't know why. We've always been enemies, why would he be so surprised that I loathe him?

"Why would you say that? I'm here to pick you up."

"I'm not going anywhere with you."

Warner's face almost goes a shade of red. His fists are packed tightly at his sides as he searches for someone to blame. "Who did this to you?"

Carven comes into view, stepping to my side. Adam is following close behind. "No one did anything to her. Emilia has come to realize the truth about you."

"This isn't my Lia," Warner argues.

"That's correct. Because she's mine," Carven says with a smirk.

Warner's hand is at Carven's throat. It's wrapped around his neck, lifting him up in the air as if squeezes the life out of him.

"Put him down," I order, trying to tug at his arm. My powers aren't working on him for some reason.

"Tell me what you did to her," Warner demands.

Adam tries to come at Warner, but Warner easily knocks him to the ground. Carven shakes his head no.

Warner squeezes harder. "Tell me or you're dead."

Carven is making noises that make my ear bleed. I can't stand to hear him in pain. Every time I try and attack Warner, it's no use. It's like he is absorbing my power.

"I used my powers on her."

Warner drops him to the ground. "I always knew it. I sensed your energy. Let me guess. Mind control?"

Carven nods, still gasping for air. "You'll turn her back or else I'll kill you. Or maybe I'll kill you either way."

Carven looks at me, seeming to be so thrilled to have some leverage over Warner. "I like her this way."

Warner's temper seems to have limits. If I absolutely hate him, why is he so insistent on 'saving' me? He's out of his mind, because no one is controlling my mind.

"If you liked her at all, you'd let her be herself. I will take this entire house and the people in to the ground if you don't give her back," Warner threatens.

"Fine," Carven says.

I'm looking between them. "Dont listen to him, Carven."

"Sorry, darling."

We're all standing in silence when Carven closes his eyes and Warner looks hopeful.

It all comes rushing in. Memories of me and Warner. Me and Aaron.

It's all so confusing and new, but it's coming back.

I do love Aaron Warner.
