I slept in Aaron Warner's best last night. After he kissed me and told me how much he loved me in every way possible.

I can't get him out of my mind. He's consuming my every thought and I don't know how to handle it. I've already had my training for today, and now I'm sitting at a cafeteria table.

Kenji sits next to me, and Adam sits on the other side. Juliette is here too, but she doesn't seem to be enjoying herself. James is here too, who I had the pleasure of having a reunion with.

Kenji has introduced me to other Omega Point members who sit at the other end of the table too.

Everything is going smoothly except for the fact that Adam keeps putting his arm around me. Besides that, lunch has been nice and I really feel like I fit in here.

"Bro, Em is going to be able to beat me up soon. She's good at training," Kenji laughs.

"Then she can take down all of the bad guys for us," James says.

"Yeah. Like Warner," Adam scoffs.

I tense and look down. It's almost like Adam's words summoned him, because I spot him across the cafeteria. He's already in a trance looking at me.

I blush and I notice that once he sees that I've seen him, his dimples show. I don't know what he's doing here, but the sight of him makes me feel giddy inside.

The nice moment only lasted a few seconds. "What are you staring at, princess?"

I turn to face Kenji in shades of pink. "Nothing."

Adam slams his fist down onto the table. "It's not nothing. You were staring at Warner, weren't you?"

He grabs my wrist, and I feel uncomfortable. Adam's hate for Aaron is driving him completely off the rails. "I don't know what you're talking about, Adam."

"Why is he out of his cell?"

Adam furiously stands up from the table, making his way towards Aaron who looks completely unbothered.

"Why are you here?!"

Aaron smirks. "It's good to see you again, Kent."

Adam shoves Aaron. "You sick piece of shit."

"Such unfortunate language. Only those who can't express themselves intelligently resort to such crude substitutions in vocabulary."

Adam scoffs. "You don't just get to come in here after killing people and kidnapping Emilia and Juliette."

I'm rushing out of my seat in hopes to break up their fight. I don't want them to fight, and I certainly don't want to be apart of the reason they are fighting.

It's still hard to look at Aaron after last night. He left me so flustered that I didn't know how to contain it.

"And why not?" Aaron asks.

"Emilia hates you, and so do I. You have no right to be here."

Aaron is laughing and Adam is confused. "I would argue that Lia does not hate me after last night."

I freeze in my steps as Adam slowly turns to look back at me. I feel a sting of betrayal that Aaron would provoke him with this, but I also feel an overwhelming guilt.

I went behind my friends' back just because I am severely attracted to the enemy.

"Emilia, what is he talking about?!"

"Adam, it's nothing."

I step inbetween them. "Both of you, just leave each other alone."

Aaron grabs my chin, and I realize that he is doing this in front of everyone. Kenji was the only one who knew about us, and now everyone is going to suspect me.

"Are you going to tell Kent how utterly pathetic of a kisser he is?"

Aaron is unhinged with jealousy, and it may have just costed me my friendship with Adam. Because when I turn to see his expression, it's bad.

"We need to talk, Emilia. Without him. Now."

Adam grabs my hand before I can protest and we're in a dark hallway. I'm thrown against the wall, but this time it's more aggressively. Very different from Warner.

"I don't know what he's talking about. I don't know what you think, but never let Warner fog what you think. I know he's lying."

Adam begins to kiss me, and I just can't believe that he hasn't gotten the message yet. I don't want him.

I push him off me. "Adam. Stop."

"What do you mean by stop?"

"I mean that I don't want this."

"Was Warner telling the truth then? Did you... kiss him?"

I haven't said yes, but the guilt is apparent on my face. Adam knows. He throws me against the wall again.

"Are you crazy? What's wrong with you, Emilia?"

I've never seen him so angry. I've also never been scared of him before, but the intenseness in his eyes is terrifying.

"Adam, you need to calm down."

"Calm down?!" He slams his fist above my head and then grabs my wrist with his other hand.

I try to electrocute him.

But it doesn't work.

"Did you try and electrocute me? Nice try, but you can't."

He grabs my face harder and I'm so confused. Why don't my powers work on him? I thought Aaron was the only one they didn't work on.

Adam turns to the side, and then he falls backwards after a fist hits his face. Aaron.

Adam's nose is bleeding and I still feel bad despite how he acted to me. Aaron has one powerful punch.

"Get your filthy hands off of her, Kent. You have a death wish."

Adam coughs and looks up. "Castle wouldn't let you kill me."

"Unfortunately for you, I don't live by Castle's rules. I live by my own."

He bends down. "Stay. Away. From. Her."

My breaths are shaky. They were so violent towards each other, and now I'm stuck in the middle of two brothers. One of them likely now hates me, and the other has almost just killed his brother for it.

Aaron grabs a handful of my hair, gently cupping my face. "Love, are you alright?"

His finger reaches up to the top of my forehead. There's a trickle of blood on his finger. "You have a cut. He hurt you."

I hadn't even realized that Adam drew blood. I feel sick to my stomach.

Aaron looks back, but Adam has already run away like a coward. "What do you want me to do? I'll do anything you want, even if it's tearing him limb by limb."

"Aaron, it's ok. Thank you."

"He will never put his hands on you like that again. I promise you, Lia."

We're slowly walking down the hallway, when I look up at him. "You known, you were the one that antagonized him, Warner."

"What did I tell you?"

"What do you mean-?"

Aaron starts kissing me, grabbing a fistful of my shirt until I'm moving backwards. Through breaths he whispers, "You know what I want you to call me."

I kiss him back until I manage to spit a word out. "Aaron."

He smiled.
