“Hey.” I kissed Drake when he opened the door, then followed him to the kitchen, where he was making cookies for when Aris and Brandi get home.

“So, a guy at my school wants me to go on a double date with him.”

“What..? Who is he? You told him we were together right? You're not cheating on me, are you?” Drake asked, completely stopping what he was doing to stare at me.

“Drake, no. You know I love you.” I walked around the kitchen island to him, and put my arms around his neck and kissed his nose. I felt him relax a little. “He's dating Emily, and he wants us to go with them to the movies on Friday.”

“Okay, I can deal with that. What time, though? Because I work until 3.”

“Definitely not at 3. Probably around 7 or 8, I'm guessing.” I said, snuggling into his shoulder.

His cold hands snaked their way up my back, as Drake whispered back, “That'll work.”

“I love you.” I said into Drake's neck, gently kissing him. I felt a shiver go up his back.

“I love you too.”

Just then, we heard the door unlock and Drake stepped back from me. I walked over to the kitchen island and sat down. Even though Aris and Brandi knew about Drake and I, we never kiss or hug in front of them. The most we do is hold hands.

“Hey Aris. Hey Brandi.” Drake called, as Aris led Brandi into the kitchen.

“Hey Tailee.” Aris said, nodding in my direction. I said hi back. Brandi let go of her sister's hand and walked over to me. I picked her up and let her sit in my lap while Drake got her medicine together.

Brandi and I have gotten very close. While Aris thinks I'm a slut or something, Brandi acts like I'm her second mother. She let's me hold her and hug her, and kiss her forehead. I usually hold her hand while she takes her medicine. She still hasn't uttered a single word since the first time I was at Drake's house, though.

“Okay Aris, take Brandi to her bedroom.” I heard Drake say, and I loosened my grip on Brandi's hand. She didn't jump down off my lap, though. She stayed for a minute, until Aris came over and picked her up off my lap. Aris gave me a disgusted look, like it was my fault Brandi didn't get up quick enough for her, and led Brandi to the bedroom at the end of the hall.

“I think Aris hates me.” I said to Drake, as he handed me a cookie.

“I think I have to agree.”
