Ben and Mal swiftly prepared for their journey to the Enchanted Forest. They gathered a small, trusted team, including Evie, Carlos, Jay, Uma, Harry, Gil, and a few of their best guards. As they equipped themselves, the urgency of the situation loomed over them, but they moved with a determined efficiency.
They set out on horseback, riding through the lush landscape of Auradon until they reached the borders of the Enchanted Forest. The forest's ancient trees and thick foliage gave it an almost mystical aura, casting long shadows that danced with the whispers of the wind.
As they dismounted and tethered their horses, Ben turned to the group. "We need to stay alert. This forest is full of old magic and hidden dangers. Keep your eyes and ears open."
They moved cautiously, the undergrowth rustling softly beneath their feet. Every sound seemed amplified in the eerie silence of the forest. As they ventured deeper, a faint, otherworldly glow began to emanate from the heart of the forest.
"Look," Evie whispered, pointing towards a clearing up ahead. In the center of the clearing stood Uliana, surrounded by a circle of stone pillars. She was chanting in an ancient language, her eyes closed in concentration.
"We need to stop her," Ben said urgently. "But we have to be careful. We don't know what kind of magic she's dealing with."
They crept closer, using the trees as cover. Just as they were about to spring into action, Uliana's eyes snapped open, and she looked directly at them. A sinister smile spread across her face.
"You really think you can stop me?" Uliana sneered. "You're too late. The power of the forest is already mine."
Suddenly, the ground beneath them began to shake, and the stone pillars started to glow with a blinding light. The team struggled to maintain their footing as the forest itself seemed to come alive, roots and vines reaching out to ensnare them.
Mal quickly summoned her magic, countering the forest's assault with her own spells. "We have to break the circle!" she shouted to the others.
Uma, Harry, and Gil surged forward, using their agility and strength to hack at the vines and roots with their swords while Jay and Carlos provided backup. Ben and Evie supported Mal, who was focusing on disrupting Uliana's spell.
It was a fierce battle, the air crackling with energy as the forces of good and evil clashed. Uma's control over the sea allowed her to summon water, dousing the enchanted flames Uliana conjured. Harry and Gil fought bravely, their pirate instincts guiding their every move.
Finally, with a mighty effort, Mal managed to break the connection between Uliana and the stone pillars. The glow faded, and the shaking stopped. Uliana staggered, her power drained.
"It's over, Uliana," Ben said, stepping forward. "Surrender now, and we can avoid any more bloodshed."
Uliana sneered, her defiance unwavering despite her weakened state. "You think this is the end?" she spat. "This is just the beginning. You have no idea what's coming."
