A few weeks later, as Lil Ben reached his one-month milestone , At lunch, they decided to spend the rest of the day at Belle's Harbor. It was a serene and picturesque spot, perfect for a family outing. After gathering their essentials, Mal, Ben, and Lil Ben, along with Belle and Adam, made their way to the harbor.

The gentle sound of waves greeted them as they arrived. The sunlight danced on the water, creating a sparkling effect that captivated Lil Ben, who gazed wide-eyed at the scene.

Belle set up a cozy picnic area with blankets and baskets filled with delicious food. Adam helped by arranging the seating, ensuring everyone had a comfortable spot.

Mal and Ben took turns holding Lil Ben, pointing out the boats and the birds flying overhead. The baby giggled and cooed, clearly enjoying the new sights and sounds.

As they settled down to eat, Belle handed out sandwiches, fresh fruit, and homemade pastries. "It's so peaceful here," Mal remarked, taking a bite of her sandwich. "I can see why you love this place so much."

Belle smiled warmly. "It's always been a haven for our family. I'm glad we can share it with you and Lil Ben."

After lunch, they took a leisurely stroll along the dock. Mal and Ben walked hand in hand, with Ben carrying Lil Ben in a baby carrier. The fresh sea breeze and the sound of seagulls added to the tranquil atmosphere.

Adam suggested sitting on a bench near the water, where they could watch the boats go by. "Lil Ben might enjoy the gentle motion and the view," he said.

Mal hesitated for a moment but then nodded. "I think he'll love it. What do you think, Ben?"

Ben grinned. "Let's do it."

They found a comfortable bench and sat down, with Ben cradling Lil Ben in his arms. The gentle rocking of the waves and the soothing sounds of the water made Lil Ben even more fascinated. He gurgled happily as Mal and Ben pointed out various sights.

"Look at him," Ben said, his voice filled with pride. "He's already a little adventurer."

Mal leaned her head on Ben's shoulder. "Just like his parents."

The time spent at the harbor was a delightful experience, and by the time they decided to head back to the palace, Lil Ben had fallen asleep, cradled in Ben's arms.

As the day came to a close, they made their way back to the palace, feeling content and closer than ever. The time spent together at Belle's Harbor was a perfect reminder of the simple joys of family life.

Later that evening, as Mal and Ben tucked Lil Ben into his crib, they reflected on the day. "Today was perfect," Mal whispered.

Ben nodded. "It really was. And there are so many more perfect days to come."

That night, they decided to have Lil Ben sleep in a crib near their bed. They wanted to keep him close and savor every precious moment with their newborn. The crib was set up right beside their bed, so they could easily check on him throughout the night.

As the room darkened, Mal and Ben settled into bed. Mal watched Lil Ben for a while, smiling at how peaceful he looked in his sleep. She then turned her attention to Ben, who was lying beside her, appearing to be asleep. She reached out and gently stroked his hair, a gesture of comfort and love.

Unbeknownst to her, Ben was still awake, pretending to be asleep. He relished the tender moment, feeling the warmth of Mal's touch and the deep connection they shared. He kept his breathing steady, enjoying the tranquility and the sense of being cherished.
