Byleth x Erdrick oneshots (Erdleth)

Sleeping next to you (Unfinished)

Summary: On the way to Erdrick's next gym battle for his 6th gym badge, staying in Santalune City for the day. Erdrick and his friends stay by in a nearby hotel to stay in for the night, Erdrick shares a room with Byleth for the night and Byleth doubts herself about not being a good as a Pokémon performer, she decides to talk to Erdrick about it. Not knowing their conversation could lead to something more.

AU: Pokémon AU (Set in the Kalos region)

A/N: I'm keeping this authors note short but I wanted to do another Erdleth Pokémon AU! I've been into Pokémon BW more and more lately,  anyways enjoy this oneshot! :)

Edit (October 3rd 2024): I'm not finishing this and I don't think I will, I had this draft saved for about 2 months now. The rest of the oneshot is Erdrick comforting Byleth and they sleep together while being in love with each other. Alright bye lol

Erdrick and his friends, Corrin, Akira, Lucina and Byleth were currently in Santalune City, for Erdrick's next gym battle and to get his 6th gym badge. The trainer was excited to battle the gym leader, to see what kind of battle strategy they have, what kind of Pokémon battle they might have and to see if they were strong enough to battle Erdrick. Of course that had to be held on for tomorrow.

Erdrick and his friends decided to stay by a hotel, it wasn't far from the nearest Pokémon center and it was great because in case if their Pokémon was hurt or injured, the Pokémon center would be there already.

But what Erdrick didn't knew that he had to share a room with someone, he didn't mind staying in with Corrin, considering he snores a lot in the night and often moves around a lot while in bed. Akira was a light sleeper so, he could hear anything in middle of the night, he could even hear a pin drop and still be wide awake.

Lucina was another one of Byleth's friends that she introduced to Erdrick, he didn't mind sharing a room with her but, it would be awkward because he didn't want to make her uncomfortable if he was making too much noise in middle of the night or her being moody in the morning if she didn't go to sleep early.

So, he had one more person to share a room with and that was Byleth.

He didn't mind sharing a room with her, in fact, they were pretty close friends ever since he met her while he was on his journey to make his dream of becoming a electric type gym leader in reality in the Unova region, so he didn't mind having Byleth around for the night.

Everyone was in their separate rooms in the hotel, most likely getting ready for bed because tomorrow was a big day for Erdrick and all of his friends wanted to get some shut eye before the big day tomorrow.

Byleth was currently getting her bag settled on her bed, Evee was sleeping on Byleth's bed already and Luxray was asleep on the floor with a blanket under it, so he wouldn't have to sleep on the floor.

Erdrick was done brushing his teeth and got into his pajamas, it was a casual sleeping shirt that had small Froakie's on it for the design and he had on some dark blue shorts on as well. He stepped out of the bathroom, turning off the light and closing the door. His attention drawn towards Byleth, who was getting her pajamas set on the bed.

"Looks like Evee's asleep." Erdrick says calmly, looking over to her Pokémon sleeping soundly. Walking over to his side of the bed, which was right next to the balcony.

"Yeah, she is. Evee was really tired after practicing for the next showcase, Flabébé though. She was excited to practice with us as well, I'm surprised that she's sleeping too!" Byleth responded with a chuckle, filling up the room with her kind laughter.

Erdrick couldn't help to smile from Byleth's laugh, he'd always thought that her laugh was music to his ears and he enjoyed hearing Byleth's laugh once in a while.
