The bell rings, which means this school day is over. My last lesson of today was history. We unfortunately had a test. I pack my bag and hand in my answers. Luckily the test wasn't really hard, I think I'll have a good grade. It's monday, which means I have tutoring with Alex. I decide to quickly go to my locker before going to my room. At my locker I meet Leila. 'Hey!' She says. 'How was your day? I got extra homework for talking during mr. Reynolds lesson.' She rolls her eyes. 'And that guy always gives plenty of homework.' She sighs.

I chuckle. I can imagine Leila talking during class, she always does. 'I just finished my history test. Luckily it wasn't really hard.' I say. 'But I need to go. Tutoring.' I grab my last books out of locker. 'Ohh. Have fun.' Leila winks at me. I roll my eyes. 'Come on Leila, you know we're just friends.' She likes to tease me with him.

'For sure.' Leila chuckles, her red curls going up and down. I hang my bag on one shoulder and shut my locker door. 'Bye Leila!' I say. 'See you!' She answers. We both walk away in opposite directions.

I arrive at my room at the same time Alex does. I search for my key in my bag, but can't find it. 'Where's that goddamn key?' I mutter, more to myself then to Alex. 'Maybe in your pocket?' Alex suggests. I slide my hand in the pocket of my jeans, feeling something hard. I take out my keys. Alex chuckles. 'Don't laugh at me.' I say, my cheeks turning red. This is so embarrassing. I open the door and throw my bag on the ground. Alex follows me.

Alex grabs some worksheets out of his bag and lays them on the table. 'The working of organs, again.' He sighs. 'Like, I get it now.' The worksheets Alex gets are mostly the same. Always about organs or something about the human body. 'What's the topic now?' I ask. Alex takes a seat and looks at the sheets. 'Digestion. Boring!' He says. 'That's true.' I sigh. 'This topic isn't even in the test! Can't we do something else?' Alex says a little mad. 'Like what?' I say.

'I don't know.' He says. He turns his head towards mine, forcing me to look into his beautiful hazel eyes. Without knowing our heads move closer. I can feel his warm breath on my skin. My heart is beating fast. Our noses almost touch now. And then, he kisses me. I feel his soft lips on mine. They taste like peppermint. At first I'm shocked, but then I kiss him back. For a few seconds I can only feel him, and my heart beating like a drum. Everything around me dissapears.

Then he pulls away. I don't know why, but I feel a little dissapointed. His gorgeous eyes staring at mine. Alex looks shocked. 'I..' He begins, but he doesn't finish his sentence. He quickly stands up and grabs his stuff. He leaves without saying a word, leaving me flabbergasted.

What just happened? Did Alex just kiss me? And why did I liked it?
