Ch-45

"Father," Jin said, his voice solemn as he addressed both his father, Wong, and Amelia's father, Austin, who were seated in one corner of the room. "We need to talk." Wong and Austin looked up, their expressions serious as they realized the gravity of the moment. They nodded silently, signaling for Jin to continue.

"We need to discuss about assembling an army, since we have no idea how big their army is" Jin's words hung in the air as the room fell silent. Both Wong and Austin exchanged a look, acknowledging the gravity of the situation. "You're right," Austin spoke up, his voice firm yet thoughtful. "We don't know how strong the enemy's army is. We need to find out and prepare ourselves accordingly."

"The war which happened 10 years ago also included demons, right?" As Yoongi raised the point about the involvement of demons in the war, both Jin and Yoongi could sense a change in the atmosphere.

Austin's expression grew solemn as he recalled the loss of his niece during that time. "That war took the life of my niece," he admitted, his gaze fixated on the ground. Jin and Yoongi listened intently. "Yes, Amelia shared that with us," Jin said softly. "We never expected her to do something like that, all for power," Austin said with disappointment.

"Do you mind if I ask questions related to that war?" Yoongi asked their permission. Both Austin and Wong exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between them. After a moment, they nodded in agreement. "Go ahead, Yoongi." Austin invited, his voice steady but tinged with a hint of sadness. "You can ask your questions."

"What was the reason behind the attack?" Yoongi posed his question, Wong sighed deeply, the weight of the past heavy on his shoulders. "She was also behind my younger brother," Wong admitted, causing Jin and Yoongi's eyes to widen in shock. "You never told us about your younger brother?" Jin exclaimed, struggling to process the sudden revelation.

Wong spoke somberly, his voice heavy with emotions as he revealed a secret he had kept hidden. "He now resides in another country with his children," Wong explained. "I haven't had any contact with him, so I'm uncertain about his well-being." He paused briefly before adding, "His niece was obsessed with him, fixated on possessing him."

Luna entered the room, her voice filled with disbelief and surprise. "But I heard Sophie was in love with a demon!!" Amelia followed suit, entering the room as well. She shook her head in disbelief, her eyes fixed on Luna. "Do you really believe that?" she questioned, her voice laced with skepticism.

Luna responded affirmatively, her voice firm and confident. "Yes, I do," she asserted. "Dracie herself confided in me that her sister, Sophie, was deeply in love with a demon." Austin's voice was tinged with disbelief as he posed a question to Luna. "Are you telling me that you trust Dracie and Sophie?" he asked, his tone filled with skepticism. "They were the cause of all this, and we're still uncertain about what the future holds."

Luna's voice took on a nostalgic tone as she spoke. "I trusted them when we were young. We grew up together, played together," she shared, memories flooding her mind."I acknowledge their mistakes and faults," she continued, her tone steady. "But I am convinced that Sophie wasn't in love with his younger brother. My intuition tells me otherwise."

Austin's voice carried a hint of disappointment as he responded to Luna's assertion. "Very well, then," he said, conceding the point."But it only serves to highlight her wrongdoings," he added. "It proves that she learned black magic from him and unleashed it against us."

Jin's voice broke the silence in the room, as he posed a question. "What became of that demon?" Both Austin and Wong exchanged glances, but their expressions revealed that they weren't aware of any further details. They shrugged in response, their ignorance evident.
