After announcing the winner ay nagkaroon kami ng photo opportunity kasama ang mga ibang taga school.
Ma'am Cat was so happy with the good results kaya manlilibre siya ng samgyup!
The competition had gone on so long that it was already evening by the time we stepped outside. The rain was pouring down heavily. Thunder and lightning accompanied the downpour, creating an almost ominous atmosphere.
Since we are wearing our corpo attire ay hindi kami makalusong sa ulan. On the way pa si Sir Bert kaya umupo na muna kami habang hinihintay siya.
A few moments later, Lachlan sat directly in front of me, blocking my view of the outside. I couldn’t see the flashes anymore, and my anxiety eased.
The traffic was horrendous due to the rain and flooding. I leaned back in my seat, drained and exhausted from the competition.
We spent nearly two hours driving around, trying to find a place to eat, but every restaurant was either full or had no available parking. With no other choice, we decided to head to SM.
When we arrived at the mall ay nagpaalam silang lahat na bibili ng kaniya-kaniya nilang pasalubong. I thought Lachlan would also buy something pero hindi ito gumalaw.
The two of us sat there in silence. I wasn’t sure if it was because we were both tired, feeling awkward, or simply quiet by nature. I took a step back and rested my hand on one of the chairs nearby to balance myself. My feet were killing me from wearing heels all day
When we entered the restaurant, the brown-themed decor immediately caught my attention. There was a grill in the center of the table, just like in the Korean dramas I’d watched. The table was laden with various dishes—beef, chicken breast, chicken wings, kimchi, soybean sprouts, braised potatoes, cucumber salad, lettuce, corn cheese, and so much more.
After eating, we headed back to the hotel. As soon as we arrived, I took a quick bath, feeling sticky and uncomfortable from the day.
A little while later, Mamang called to ask about the competition. I stepped outside and sat in one of the chairs in the garden, enjoying the quiet and the gentle breeze against my skin. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam ng lamig, the peacefulness of the night was a welcome contrast to the chaos of the day.
