It's been a few hours and you needed to grab your things from the room, you slowly opened the door peaked in and seen the man asleep in the bed, you snuck in quietly you grab your bag "who the fuck are you" the voice made you jump as you whipped your head towards the bed "oh I'm I'm so sorry, I'm Lyric I was just coming to grab my things" you stared at the man in the bed

Even though he had a bandage and was banged up you noticed how handsome he was " what are you starring at" he snapped you out of your gaze "oh I'm sorry, are you okay do you need anything" he shook his head "no I'm good thanks, hey um I know I've technically took your bed or so I'm guessing, so if you need anywhere to sleep, my tent is free" he smiled at you and your heart warmed "oh thank you ummm..." you looked at him "oh it's Daryl" you smiled at him
"well thank you Daryl I owe you" you winked at the man and left the room a big smile on your face "hey what's got you smiling" you looked at the short haired woman "oh carol! Nothing really just Daryl, he said I could use his tent can you point me in the right direction" others around the camp looked at you shocked "what?" " Daryl, Daryl said you could use his tent?" You looked at the boy in a cap "sorry I don't think we have met I'm Lyric, but yeah he did" Glenn smiles "sorry it's nice to meet you I'm Glenn, Daryl is never nice to anyone, no ones allowed near his things let alone sleep in his tent" your surprised "well I guess I just have that effect on people" you giggle nudging Glenn " or your fit as fuck and not many woman round here" Shane spoke up behind you, you turned to face him
" Shane was it?" He nodded "okay we'll get this through your head, look at me in a disrespectful way again and I'll beat your ass" you glared at him, he stepped closer daring you "Shane fuck sake leave her alone she's recovering go be an ass somewhere else" Glenn stood beside you, Shane stormed off "hey thanks" you smiled to him "so Daryl's not one to sleep to close to people so he is over there by that tree will you be okay over there?" You looked at the tent by the tree in the middle of the field "honestly yes I need some time alone" you laughed
You woke up to loud voices near your tent you sat up rubbed your eyes and listened in "Rick you can't be okay with this, first you let this girl stay and now there are walkers in the barn" you widened your eyes, he don't trust me okay good to know " of course i let her stay she saved Carl" "oh fuck sake man yeah she saved Carl he's okay she's healed let's tell her to leave" you couldn't see what was going on so wondered what the pause was about "no we are not doing that, she was my best friend in school, I lost her once it isn't happening again, she's done nothing wrong to anyone here, she stays.....as for the barn we can't do anything I will talk to Hershel we will sort this" you heard feet stomp away
You figured it was a good time to leave the tent the zip sound makes Rick stare over "fuck Lyric I didn't know you was here, wait what are you doing in Daryl's tent, get your shit he will be so mad if he sees you here" you laughed everyone was really adamant Daryl was going to be pissed "yes I heard the whole thing, I can leave if it makes things easier?" "No! Of course not fuck them, they will soon get used to you and understand why I'm like I am" you smiled " what's this about walkers in the barn?" "Yeah Glenn told us this morning, I'll sort it with Hershel" you nodded knowing he will sort it out "yes sheriff" you giggled "right come on, if your up for it we need help finding a little girl" your eyes widened "what?" "Yeah carols daughter Sophia ran from a walker the other day and we haven't found her since, Daryl came close to finding her but obviously he hurt himself so it's on hold" your heart hurt for carol
"yeah I'll do it show me a map I'll go finish where Daryl was" Rick smiled happy your going to help, "thank you, we all will appreciate it, come on before Daryl actually comes back" "Rick yourself carol and Glenn have told me not to be here but he offered so I took it" ricks eyes widened "he told you to sleep here" "well yeah, I wouldn't just randomly sleep in someone's tent, I was going to hook myself to a tree like I've been doing for months" Rick laughs pictures you doing that. " of course you would, come on let's get you a horse to take out" he wrapped his arm round your shoulders dragging you with him.
on one side Shane was in the tree line wanting you to fuck off and Lori glared from the camp fire watching her husband all over another woman, although she has slept with Shane she was still a jealous wife, she knew they hasn't fucked since school but the way he looks at her sometimes and the way her smile lights up when she sees him doesn't sit well with her, they both walked past unaware of the looks they was receiving, glad they had found each other again, Lyric loved Rick, just not in the way Lori was thinking, she had another man's face on her mind and she's only spoken to him once.
