Part 9

Farm house

In the space of 10 minutes I lost sight of everyone I was busy collecting my bags and throwing them in the car, to then turning around and killing so many walkers, they just kept coming, I had no idea where anyone was I couldn't see over the walkers they was pushing me deeper and deeper into the woods, I heard gun shots and shouting, I seen the barn light up on fire and I watched Andrea be taken down and couldn't do anything about it, I had no idea where Rick was or if he was okay and the same for Daryl, I mean everyone means a lot to me but  those two men are the closest thing to a family I have.

Going to the high way

You managed to loose the walkers you was walking through the woods, I wasn't sure where to go but I figured if they was to go anywhere maybe the point where they left food for Sophia would be best, it was all I had to go off so it was what I was doing, the sun was coming up as I heard cars and a bike drive past me, I was to deep in the woods for them to see me but I could kind of see them "mum" Carl shouted running to hug his mum, Hershel hugged his girls and Glenn, Daryl hugged Rick, t dog shaking the men's hands

"is this everyone" Lori asked "anyone seen jimmy ...Patrica" Hershel asked "he was in the rv it got over run" Rick said you was walking closer you could hear and see them " she was holding onto me daddy I tried" Beth answered "Andrea" Rick asked "we seen her go down" Maggie and glen spoke "Lyric" Daryl asked everyone looked down "no ones seen her since the house, we tried looking but it was all gone" "damn it, I'm gunna go back" "wait you can't it's over run" Lori spoke up "I can't just leave her there" Daryl snapped back at Lori "Daryl" your voice came out as a harsh whisper throat so dry from the lack of water, everyone stopped and looked in your direction, shocked and happy to see you was okay.

he ran straight to you bringing you into a massive hug, you smiled and hugged him back, looking at everyone who was on the road and smiled at them all to greatful you thought of the highway otherwise you don't know where you would have gone or if you would have ever seen them again, Rick walked over and pulled you into a hug once Daryl let go "I'm glad your okay" "I'm glad your okay to rick" you smiled up at him.

On the road

They didn't know where they was going so for months they moved from house to barn, state through state.
You felt like you missed a lot from the farm considering now Lori was supporting a 8 month pregnancy bump, you had no idea the girl was pregnant, but you had been helping her a lot as moving isn't easy.

you had also been getting closer and closer to Carl he looks at you as a step mother, you didn't know that of course but Lori noticed a few months ago and Rick has recently noticed, he'd spend more time with you than his mother for some reason he was mad at her, you was teaching him maths and you was also teaching him how to hunt track and kill, another person who can do that the better.

Daryl watches over you a lot, you never notice but Rick sure does, he hasn't known Daryl long but the Daryl he knew before you came along and this Daryl was completely different, he liked the idea of you two but your both  oblivious it's like you guys don't know the other likes the other.

"Come on kid let's go hunt" you spoke to Carl as you nodded at Rick so he knew where his son would be.

"Where are we going to go now" carol asked the group "god I'm not sure once this herd meets up with this herd we are going to be dealing with one big herd" Glenn sighs "we need somewhere for Lori to have the baby" Hershel spoke " somewhere safe and secure" "you dont think I know that, I know that we have been looking all winter I'm not sure what else we can do" Rick snapped "hey come on let's go cool off, we will go find Lyric and Carl" Daryl spoke to Rick and the group, Rick nodded his head

You stood staring at the overrun prison you seen between the trees, hearing foot steps approach you look and smiled when it was Daryl and Rick "now call me crazy but" you said and pointed at the prison "that would be perfect, we go in close that gate to the court yard kill off the walkers in the field and it will be safe enough for tonight" the smile on ricks face got bigger and bigger.

Prison

We all climbed through the cut hole in the fence, you helped Lori climb through careful not to hurt herself and smiled at the woman, Glenn closed it up with some cable he found somewhere on the road, you all ran down the side of the fence that joined to the front gates "we need someone to run for the gate" everyone else refused to do it "I'll go I'm the fastest here" "noooo no nope" Daryl said walking over to you, everyone in the group can see you both like each other and laughed lightly at Daryl "um Daryl, you are not my mother, I'm trained I was in the army for god sake" you laughed at him loving that he was protective

"I'll be fine, in and out in no time" he nodded knowing he would never be able to tell you what to do you was to head strong for that "okay well I'm watching from the tower" Daryl spoke before side pulling you into a hug and walking off "okay carol you go with Daryl, your shootings got better we don't have loads of bullets so careful, Carl you stay with me help me open the gates, Lori you Beth Hershel go in the other tower,Maggie Glenn t dog you stand over there stab them through the fence, I know we can do this we just got to push a little bit" Rick smiled as everyone got into position.
