Prison

You didn't notice that there was 4 new faces when you got home, you was to busy going to your room, but Rick got rid of them anyway going crazy shouting get out and leave me alone, Carl said two of them at least was good people but oh well Rick was our leader he made the choice.

Hershal walked in once I put Judith down for another nap, I've definitely taken on the mother role without being the mother but I'd do anything to honour Loris wishes "your great with her" Hershel spoke to me, a small smile played on my lips " I've always wanted kids but finding the right person was never happening for me" Hershel smiled back I get that, "can I check you over" he asked timidly knowing I wouldn't want to be touched but my cuts and bruises probably need tending to " I guess" came out in a whisper as you sat on the bed.

He looked you over a sadness in his eyes as he did so, "we are all here for you, what you have been through is something I'd never wish on anyone" you nodded "I'm okay, I'm trained" "you can be trained in keeping the emotions in, not showing your fear or fighting back in times where it won't help, but you will never be trained to emotionally get over and deal with a rape" hearing the words from someone else felt like a blow to the chest, tears came in your eyes "it was, it was me or Maggie" Hershel looked up to you shock written all over his face as he'd realised what you had done " he went to, I told him to do it to me, I protected her, I've had a lot of bad shit happen to me my whole life I'll get over it, Maggie she never would" Hershel had tears in his eyes now.

You both sat there you on the edge of the bunk bed him on the stool infront of you as he quietly cleaned your cuts "I feel wrong saying thank you because of what you had to go through but I am thankful you looked after Maggie as much as you could" you understood where he was coming from and wasn't mad, you'd be thankful if someone stopped your child from being raped, you didn't answer just nodded and smiled at the man

"I know this is personal but how is down there" he nodded towards my lady area, you cringed "I'm okay, just sore" "take it easy and if you need to we will find some creams on the next run" "thank you, I'm sorry for shutting you people out I just I hate the pity look, it happened it's done we can't change it" Hershel looked at you with sad eyes "we know, we are all letting you take your time, ricks not even with us at the moment, I think he's going crazy" you furrowed your eyebrows "I'll talk to him" "I was just about to go down and speak with him, you can join me if you wish" you thought for a second, Judith was asleep and you could ask Beth to check in on her "okay"

You walked out your cell at the end of the hallway top floor away from everyone else, you walked into the common area, the others stopped and looked at you sad eyes "guys I appreciate the looks and the sorrow but your going to have to stop acting different around me I'm okay I'll be okay, what's done is done, can't be changed so please go back to how we was before this all happened before I go crazy" they all nodded and Maggie ran to you pulling you in a hug "I will stop but you saved me and I wanted to say thank you" she whispered in your ears you squeezed her tightly "okay, where is Rick" "he's outside the gate just stood on the small bridge"

You walked outside, your eyes hurting since it's been a good day since you been out of the darkness of the cells "he's down there, he's not himself and we need to be ourselves in case the governor comes looking" Glenn spoke to you, you nodded and started walking "hey wait up I said I was coming" Hershel and his crutches caught up to you, you chuckled "race ya" Hershel chuckled out loud

"Rick" you spoke loudly so he heard, he snapped his head towards you " lyric" his smile was small "are you okay, what are you doing out here Rick" he looked from Hershel to you "iv been seeing Lori, it's like she's haunting me" "you have been through a lot Rick, we understand but your going to have to pull it together, the governor is going to come any day now and we aren't ready" Hershel pleads with Rick, ricks hand grips the fence you grip yours over his "I will always be here for you rick, iv got your children and I will until you are ready" he smiled a tear streaming down "you are my bestfriend and you have mothered my children and I'll never be able to repay you" "you don't have to, I want to do it, I love them and I love you"

Just as Rick was about to respond a shot ran through the air, the noise putting you in a stance motion "get down it's him" just as the words left your lips, the govenour and some of his people shot bullets at everyone, you was getting Hershel down to the ground, you seen Glenn run for the car hoping he was coming to you guys, just as that was about to happen one bullet hit you in the shoulder you fell to the floor in rippling pain "fuckkkk" you screamed Hershel rolled over to see you "keep pressure on it when we get back I'll fix it, just breath" "why's it always fucking me" tears streamed

A van smashed through the fence and dropped a ton of walkers in your yard, the fear was getting to much along with the pain of the bullet wound, Glenn came with the car just  in time his eyes widened when he saw the blood cover you " I'm fine let's get him in the car" you tried lifting Hershel up, michonne came over slicing the walkers heads with her sword "thank you" you said as she helped you and Hershel in the car " go Glenn" she spoke up as she climbed into the car herself, you got through the other gates got out of the car, you looked to see if you could find Rick "omg Daryl" Carol smiled from beside you, your heart beat raised as you heard his name, it was the fact he was back after leaving you and the fact Carol would be all over him, you turned seeing Daryl look at you through the gates in the other side of the prison, you looked away and stormed inside not ready to talk to him.
