Rick and Daryl had found a quarry full of hundreds and thousands of walkers as they went out and buried Pete's body, we had all spend the last few days making a plan on how we would get them away safely and not head towards Alexandria, some of the community was not in on it although being told by deanna that we follow yours or ricks rules they didn't like the fact we had come in, big red had taken over construction, Daryl was a recruit and michonne was the police basically and Maggie was deannas right hand man, then there's you and Rick that everyone started to looked at for answers.
"When this lorry goes Daryl Sasha and red takes there cars and leads them away you have all been assigned your groups and where you will be stationed " Rick spoke "I haven't been assigned anything" you look between Rick and Daryl "because your not going to be here" Rick deadpanned, your head snapped to look at him "what the fuck do you mean I'm not going to be here"

You stood staring at him waiting for an explanation "your not going I need you back here helping home stay safe" "what! no! if everyone is out there so am I send someone else home" you looked over to Daryl slightly pleading he looked away from you " I need you to stay and watch our kids please" once Rick went on about the kids you knew you couldn't argue, your heated expression softened a-bit "fine" you huffed out " but next time Rick I'm going and your not stopping me, I'm not just a baby sitter I could probably beat you in a fight of survival, they are your kids as much as mine and there are plenty of capable people here to watch them for us" you stormed out
Daryl looked over at Rick "she has a point you know, your trying to protect her but she will rebel if you don't let her do things we all know that woman is highly trained and I sleep in the same bed with her so I'd much rather you didn't piss her off because I have to deal with it" Rick nodded with a laugh "your not wrong I just know myself and the kids couldn't bare to loose her" Daryl frowned thinking of that as well " I don't think anyone here could she's a big part of this group and family, but she's also not some weak woman" daryl shrugged, "anyway let's plan this more, tomorrow we go to dry run it out there".
The groups of people had left doing a run of what tomorrow will bring they didn't know how this would go we had Hurd a small group of walkers but never over thousands, I was home baking cookies with Judy just trying to pass the time, Hours had passed and they still wasn't home you was getting anxious, that was until you looked out the window and seen the neighbour get sliced in half by some crazy guy with a W on his head "Carl!" You shouted for the boy "I'm here Lee I seen it what shall we do" "WE ain't doing anything YOUR watching your sister, you have your gun yes?" He nodded at you as you rushed round grabbing things to cover what you looked like " okay great anyone walks through that door that ain't me shoot them" you walked over to Judy kissed her head walked over to Carl giving him a massive hug, he was much taller than you now so he gave you a kiss on the head "please be safe Lee we can't loose you" you sigh looking between your kids "I will, I love you" Carl smiled "I love you"
You left the house running over to the dead lady and making a W out of blood on your forehead, looking over you notice Carol had the same idea, "ill get to the guns you help people" you nodded running over and stabbing some guy who was attacking one of the neighbours again, the sound of a horn made you stop what you was doing, that would attract walkers for sure
Hours later everyone except those that jumped the fence was dead, you was out of breath sat on the porch with Carl and Judith next to you looking at the blood stained floor "what the fuck was that about" Carl spoke you didn't care he swore this world went to shit long time ago "I don't even know, people change at the end of the world some for the worst" you got up and started cleaning up the body's you needed to get them away from the sight of all the children running around here.
"Open the gate" you looked around hearing the voice knowing exactly who it belonged to, you started running to the gate "open the gate" you ripped the gate open shock and horror flooded your body as you noticed the army of walkers behind a running Rick "fuck" you gasped out Rick ran through the gates as you slammed them shut moments before walkers clawed there arms through the bars "what the fuck happened back there" you said to Rick "it was suppose to be a dry run, walkers got out, the lorry fell we had to do it, only there was a horn from home that split the herd in half, what happened are you and the kids okay" he walked to you holding your face looking at your bruises from fighting the attackers "yeah yes the kids are fine, people climbed the fence started killing people was brutal but we are okay" Rick kissed your forehead as you hugged him "where's Daryl" you felt him stiffen, you stood back to stare at him " I honestly don't know"
