Dear Diary,
I'm speed writing this because I ain't got much time (Han' bday in 30 minutes)
I'm genuinely tensed about the selection day after tomorrow, I heard there's going to be around 4-5 groups for each gender participating. We've practiced for hours nonstop, and it's been crazy. Changbin's helping me out with rap, and I'm helping him out with dance. Basically, we're all helping each other out wherever we can. Our uh idk manager, dude? I'm not sure about him, but he was happy to see us encourage each other and be there for each other.
Now, before this birthday deal, I was busy working on my English when Han came up to me sobbing. Apparently, he was scared in disappointing Chan and everyone else. He's a bit soft. A few other trainees were making fun of the poor dude. I was there along with him at the time and told them to bother off, but he took it to heart. I hugged him and kissed his forehead while he sobbed on my shoulder.
What's funny is that it happened to me as well 3 days ago. This time, it was Hyunjin who consoled me for 20 whole minutes. I really cherish him so much. He's so special to me. He's always there when you need him, and he always appreciates every little thing you do for him. I feel like I'm genuinely blessed not only for him but also for the entire group.
Now, about Han's birthday surprise, we've got him a cheesecake we all pitched in for. You see, this squirrel like guy might be a bit shy at first, but when he hears the word cheesecake from you, you'll be best buddies. Long story short, cheesecake is his girlfriend. We've also got him small gifts like jewellery, decors, and cute stuff we're sure he'll love. He's sleeping right now, but we'll wake him up and present this to him. I hope he's happy. (This was mine, Changbin's and Chan's idea)
11:53 rn, I'll update you with his reaction soon.
12:20. He sobbed a bit after we all hugged him. He got a few calls from his parents and friends as well, and honestly, I've never seen him so happy. He deserves it.
The time also means I've got class in precisely 5 hours or so, and I need my sleep. Good night!
