Robby hung up and just sat by the bathroom door. He wasn't sure what to expect but he certainly didn't expect her to agree to meet. He was also surprised by how suddenly she hung up. Something for sure happened.
Robby didn't put much thought into it and eventually made his way to bed, and texted her the place, waiting for her response.

Tory was scrambling on her phone. She deleted the phone call from her history and closed all her tabs as quickly as she could, then threw her phone into her suitcase as she opened the door.
Sensei Kim immediately walked in and asked, " Who were you talking to?" She said. Tory froze.
" My mom. " She responded. Sensei Kim nodded, no emotion on her face. It was silent for a minute, but to Tory it felt like an eternity. Finally Kim said,
" Very well. Sensei Kreese told me to tell you not to leave the hotel without our permission and without warning us where you are going." She said.
Tory shook her head. " Why couldn't Sensei Kreese tell me that?" She asked.
" He is working with my student Kwon. They are training extra because he will probably go against one of the Miyagi Do fighters if they make it." Tory just nodded. Suddenly her phone buzzed. Sensei Kim turned to it, but Tory beat her to it.
On the speech option, she said, " Love you too Brandon. Have fun with your friends."
Sensei Kim looked disgusted and said, " Be ready Nichols, because tomorrow the real training begins.
She left the room and Tory fell to her knees.

Robby send Tory the location but was surprised with her response.
Love you too Brandon. Have fun with your friends
He knew something was wrong. But after a few minutes she replied,
" Sorry, wrong number. Sure. See you tomorrow. " He sighed and finally that night went to bed.

Robby arrived at the coffee shop at 8am. He had texted Tory and she said that was the only time that worked.
He waited for a few minutes, ordered a latte, and sat down. He didn't sleep much last night and was exhausted, but for Tory he would do anything.
Finally, after his latte cooled down Tory showed up.

Tory got up at 4. She couldn't sleep. She was too worried about seeing Robby to do anything.
What if this was an ambush? What if all of Miyagi Do was waiting there for her? Or what if he tried to convince her to join?
Tory kept trying to come up with an excuse as to why he wanted to see her, but deep down she knew it was cause he cared about her and was worried. She also knew he might want to break up with her, but she pushed that thought away.
She knew Kim was going to be on her trail so she asked if they could meet early and he replied right away with yes.
Tory left the hotel, leaving a note saying she went to check out the place, in case Kreese or Kim went looking for her.
She arrived at the coffee shop and saw Robby. She made her way over. Never had she felt so nervous. They were technically still together, but she felt awkward.
She was about to sit down, when Robby got up and kissed her. He grabbed her waist and she grabbed his neck. He pulled her in and she responded. Before she could even comprehend what happened, he stopped
" Sorry." He said sheepishly. As quickly as it started it ended. Trying to break the tension she went and bought a coffee. She came back and sat across from him.
" Hi." She said. He just stared at her.
Why did he have to stare at her like that? She always let her guard down when he stared at her like that.
" How are you doing?" He asked. She replied good before anything else could happen.
" Tory, I'm going to cut to the chase. I'm sorry, I know my dad and Mr. Larusso treated you badly, but you didn't have to-"
" YES I DID." Tory said very loudly. She didn't want it. She couldn't. She thought he would understand.
" Robby, you know I care for you, but I told you I can handle myself and if this is what I want let me have it!"
" Tory, please understand, this isn't the right path. I've been down that path."
" So have I Robby. I never wanted to leave Cobra Kai. I just didn't like when Silver was in charge. With Kreese it was actually ok. You remember don't you?" She asked trying to get him to remember. " I know you liked that too." Robby sighed. If he was honest he really did. But that was such a different time.
He also didn't want to lose her but he didn't want to go back down that path. He couldn't risk it with his life finally getting back on track. He had friends and a loving father.
" Tory, I've told you before, if you're in Cobra Kai things will become bad and-"
" NICHOLS!" A familiar voice shouted. It was Sensei Kim with Sensei Kreese.
Tory looked away. Robby studied her face and saw fear. Something he had only seen in her before with Kim and Silver.
Robby realized at that moment. She shouldn't be in Cobra Kai. Even if it inflicted fear in her, they brought her in with open arms making her feel welcomed. The emotions of her mother's passing had become a tool and Kreese probably did care for her. But it wouldn't do her any good in the long run. He just wanted to spread the Cobra Kai legacy.
" Mr. Keene. How nice of you to stop by." Kreese said. Robby nodded.
" I was just leaving." Robby replied. Kreese put a hand up to stop him.
" What lies have you told my champion?" He asked.
" Nothing. I was just wondering about her mom." He replied and turned away. On his way out, he whispered to Tory,
"Its ok." He nodded and she nodded back.
" Please don't bother me anymore Keene." She whispered back. " Go. We're done. I can't-"
" It's fine. Its ok." He said. Then he took off.
After he left Sensei Kreese said,
" Ms. Nichols... I think we need to have a talk."
