There was no wind or natural sunlight. The moon goddess wasn't gracing the sky, yet with a quick movement of a tree, a surprising puff of air from a plant shifted around me. Supernatural entities embody the strange forest around me.

Soon my image went blank. In the pitch black, my hand laid free and I found soft silk flowing through my fingertips. The blue silk turned dark, forming hair.

The hair that flowed from my fingers collected just beyond my reach.  Rich skin and bright blue eyes looked back. Her lips smiled at me as my fingertips gently ran across her cheeks.
"Katara?" I exclaimed with a short breath.

She didn't speak only stare. My hands cup her jawline and tears well in my eyes.
"Am I dead?" I asked.

A low scuff chuckle came from her lips, her eyes looked down to the strange amber ground below us. I soon blinked and found us sitting on a grass field. This grass field was unnatural a small island that floated in nothing. No great ocean around us, no natural sky above us. Even though I didn't understand it, I've never felt so comfortable.  Looking at myself I was dressed head to toe in my regal ornate robe. To my side sat Katara, she wore a white Han-Fu dress her long dark hair suddenly combed and styled.

My heart felt a sense of warmth and calmness that wasn't known for months. Katara leaned her body into mine, the scent of water lilies engulfed my breath and I knew for sure it was her.

We sat there for a while. The strange world continued to transform in front of us. In the end, we were left with a bamboo forest behind us and a lake surrounding us.
"Is this where you leave me?" I hesitantly asked somehow feeling her beginning to be pulled from me.

Looking up at me Katara's sweet blue eyes were warm and tender. Her lips softly smiled at me, and my heart began to beat harder. My hand crossed over gently reaching the back of Katara's neck. Our bodies stretch backward in a field of fire lilies flowers.
Katara's peach lips were near as Zuko bent closer. The moment his lips touched hers Zuko's heart busted, and he felt something he couldn't in a long time. Love.

With this feeling, Zuko soon realized he was departing. His emotions began to fight with his conscience leaning over Katara their foreheads touched, his lips only inches from hers.
Zuko qualm and Katara's spirit could feel a warmth in the distance. Their lips meet again but only for a short time. Zuko's vision was quickly engulfed in darkness.
"Katara?... Katara?!"

Fighting to move in the dark room, his body suddenly sits up his eyes wide open. Zuko recognizes the dawn sky outside his open balcony. Looking over to his dresser he sees the urn of Katara he bought back from LuTen.

Five years later

Dressed in my ornate robe I began my day with a trip to see Katara. Just outside in my mother's garden, I had built a small marble memorial tomb decorated with lots of water lilies which framed the side of the tomb. Something about her remains sitting in a dark room until the anniversary date of her passing each year didn't sit right with me.
