Sokka

"We need to give her time," Sokka concluded as he picked up his spoon.
In the family home part of the large structure Aang, Sokka, and Sekku sat down to what felt like a broken dinner. The moment Zuko had left Katara fell silent unwilling to speak, shocked from the whole day finally cracking her.

"Sokka. She hates me... and she's right." Aang spoke out, clutching his hand over the cheek Katara had slapped earlier.

"We all attempted to find her," Sekku added trying to make Aang feel better.

"But I'm the Avatar! She's right to hate me... After Fire Lord Zuko ended the war, I did nothing...I was nothing."

"Aang. You were recovering. rightfully so. Don't forget Azula shot you down with lightning and Katara even said Zuko betrayed you guys down there." Sokka interjected drinking the liquid of the five-flavored soup.

"I should have fulfilled my destiny Sokka... Instead, I ignored it." Scooting from the table, Aang's body moved the cushion backward. Creating space between him and the table as his eyes look down in disappointment.
Doing what he should have done all these years ago Aang stood to his feet, flickering his wrist. He commanded the air and bent it around his staff, slapping the wood against his palm.
*whizzz*

"Where are you going?" Sekku asked hearing the harsh clash of the wind action as he tilted his head looking up at Aang.

"To find katara."

"Wait a minute. Are you sure that's a good idea?!" Sokka yelled out standing up quickly.
"Don't forget I just banned her from seeing Zuko. Last time I tried to banish someone from the village she didn't take it lightly! Don't you remember she almost left with you!" Sokka reminded Aang.

"I see your point... Sekku, perhaps you should go talk to her." Aang asked.
"she doesn't know you well but you two seen close." Aang hinted remembering how easily Sekku was able to wrap his arms around her shoulders earlier.

"Honestly Aang, this is more of a family thing and I already felt as though I overstepped my boundaries earlier," Sekku confessed as he ran his palm into his long colored brown hair pushing it back.

"I think Aang is right, Sekku. I'm sure Katara is furious with me. The whole man telling a woman what to do thing." Sokka announced with air quotes, knowing well who his sister was and how much she hated that kind of treatment.
"Aang isn't her favorite person at the moment... it's clear she had some kind of relationship with Zuko-"

"That's for sure" Aang interjected jealous, remembering what little he did find out.

Rolling his eyes Sokka looked back to Sekku after hearing Aang's small outburst. "I think having someone fresh to speak to, would help calm her down more quickly- Suki?! Where's katara?"
Sokka asked cutting himself off as he noticed his wife walking into the room alone.

"Sokka she's just blank in there. She has nothing to say... but she is so upset with Aang!."
Suki exploded as she sat down at the table grabbing a bowl to eat.
"She's not even hungry."

Sokka gulped down the nervous saliva in his throat as he saw how quickly Suki grabbed a bowl.
"I'm sorry Suki. All day I've been asking a lot of you. I didn't realize you hadn't eaten." He quickly apologizes. Regardless if he was the chief of a large tribe the wrath of his wife was scarier than facing a thousand men.

"It's alright Sokka. I'm not upset, just hungry. I put Kenos down to bed earlier too. The nanny said she'll check in on him tonight since she knows we're dealing with a lot as a family."

Offering my wife a small smile she turned towards her bowl ready to devour it. Turning my attention to Sekku, my head nodded signaling him to go up.
