Meeting someone in life is actually astonishing.

That's because they bring themselves with their past, present, and future.

That's because someone's whole life comes along.

The heart is fragile.

Therefore, it might have been broken.

That heart is coming, too.

FAYE

Faye swerves sharper than she intended, avoiding the incoming traffic. Beside her, Ice holds onto the grab bar.

The doctor's scream mixes with the sound of horns outside. "Dude, slow down! I haven't written my will and testament yet."

"I'm sorry," Faye mutters, claiming their previous lane.

Ice sigh. "It's alright. I understand."

What Faye didn't understand, though, is how come Marissa is the one who answered when she called Yoko's phone. Or how Fourth cannot answer where Yoko is right now.

When Tiny calls, she puts him on speaker. "Anything?"

"Nope." There was a pause before Tiny continued on the other end. "Third is not here on his shit hole."

Faye punches the car's horn not-so-gently.

"I'll go check his hangout. I'll update you."

"Thank you. Please be careful." Faye said meekly.

Faye instructs Ice to message Detective Ko to where Tiny is heading to.

At least that way, her coach won't be in a possible danger.

Faye didn't take time to observe the diminishing crowd and the cluster of police at the building as she drives through a roundabout leading to the building's parking.

"Alright," she said with a sigh. "Marissa is with Fourth."

"I know. I know."

She wants to comfort the woman, but she's not capable of doing that right now.

Faye opens the door as soon as the engine's off and caught sight of her cousin among the packs of security personnels.

"This is why I don't include people outside the agency, less alone as head security of one unit," a bulky man said.

From where they are standing, she can see Fourth's face turning red. Her cousin is balling her fist too.

"Fourth!"

The woman's face lits up, if only a little. She meets her cousin's big strides with her own.

Beside her, Ice runs to Marissa.

"Cuz I'm sorry, —."

"Have you seen Third? Where's your twin?"

She takes the woman's confused face as a negative and walks brusquely, leading to the elevators.

Fourth caught her sleeve. "Why is everyone looking for Third?"

"Who's the other one looking?"

"Detective Kowit."

Faye ignores Fourth's blabbering and said firmly, "Lead me to him."
