Irfan looked at Nouf with a mature expression, his eyes searching for answers. "Now, tell me, do such things happen after having ......?" he asked, his voice gentle but curious.
Nouf's face turned bright red as she felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. She couldn't look Irfan in the eye, and instead, she looked away, her voice barely above a whisper. "Y-yes, it does," she stuttered, still wincing in pain.
Irfan's expression turned concerned, and he reached out to gently touch Nouf's hand. "What can I do to ease the stomach pain?" he asked, trying to behave maturely.
Nouf hesitated for a moment before answering. "I...I don't really know," she said, still looking uncomfortable.
Irfan's eyes filled with empathy, and he gave Nouf's hand a gentle squeeze. "Don't feel shy, Nouf," he said. "You can tell me if you need anything. I want to help you feel better."
Nouf looked up at Irfan, her eyes filled with gratitude. But then, Irfan's expression turned guilty, and he looked away.
"I'm sorry that I overdid it last night," he said, his voice filled with regret.
Nouf's expression softened, and she reached out to touch Irfan's arm. "No, it's not your fault," she said. "Such things happen, and it's not like you did it on purpose."
Irfan looked at Nouf, his eyes searching for reassurance. "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice still filled with guilt.
Nouf nodded, her expression firm. "Yes, I'm sure," she said. "We're married, Irfan, and these things are a natural part of our relationship. Let's not worry about it, okay?"
Irfan nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Okay, Nouf," he said. "I'll try not to worry about it."
As they sat there in silence for a moment, Irfan's expression turned shy, and he looked away. "I just hope that you get pregnant as soon as possible," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Nouf's face turned bright red again, and she avoided Irfan's gaze. "I don't think anything can happen at the first try," she said, her voice filled with embarrassment.
Irfan looked at Nouf, his eyes filled with amusement. "Then we'll have to do it again, I guess," he teased, moving closer to her.
Nouf looked scared, and she backed away from Irfan, her eyes wide with fear. "No, please no, Irfan," she said, her voice trembling.
Irfan's expression turned concerned, and he reached out to gently touch Nouf's arm. "Calm down, I'm not going to do anything," he said, his voice soothing. "I'm just kidding. Why are you getting so scared?"
Nouf looked up at Irfan, her eyes still wide with fear. "I don't know," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just feel really uncomfortable right now."
Irfan nodded, his expression understanding. "Okay, Nouf," he said. "I won't push you. Let's just take things slow, okay?"
Nouf nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that Irfan was trying to be understanding, and she appreciated his efforts.
Nouf's face contorted in pain as she clutched Irfan's hands tightly. "My stomach is aching, please do something!" she cried out, her voice laced with desperation.
Irfan's expression turned concerned, and he quickly sprang into action. "Let's take you to the hospital," he said, helping Nouf to put on her sleeping gown and gently guiding her out of bed.
As they made their way downstairs, Irfan carefully supported Nouf, taking every step with caution. The rest of the family was already gathered in the living room, chatting and laughing with each other. Amaan, however, was still fast asleep on the couch, the effects of the medication still lingering.
