Second Chances

Chapter 1

Darrian Barrett was a beautiful twenty-four year old. She had jet black long hair and dark brown eyes. She was debuting on AEW tonight. She was in catering and spotted someone she hadn't seen in many years, Max Friedman.

"Damn, all these years later and he still makes me go weak in the knees." She thought.

Darrian went over to him.

"Hi Max." She said.

"Hi." "Wait, I know you."

"Yes you do."

"Darrian?"

"Yes."

"Darrian Barrett?"

"Yes."

"Come here." They hugged.

"It's been a long time."

"About seven years." "What are you doing here?"

"Debuting."

"You're a wrestler?"

"Yeah" "I started training three years ago."

"That's awesome." "How's Kyle?"

"Good." "He's married with two boys."

"What about you?"

"I'm divorced." "I married Greg."

"You married that asshole?"

"Unfortunately."

"Why?"

"I loved him and we have a daughter together."

"How old?"

"She just turned six."

"Six, you got pregnant when you were seventeen?

"Yep"

"What's her name?"

"Kaylie."

"I've always liked that name."

"I remember." "I have to go but it was great seeing you."

"You too." She walked away. "Damn, she still hot as fuck." He thought

After the show Max was at the bar having a beer with his best friend Austin. (Adam Cole)

"Did you see Darrian Barrett's match tonight?"

"Yeah." "She's really good."

"I used to go out with her." "I could've gotten in a lot of trouble though."

"Why?"

"I was twenty-one and she was only seventeen." "She was the sister of one of my friends."

"Did you sleep with her?"

"Yeah." "She was great in bed."

"What happened?"

"She broke my heart and went back to her asshole ex-boyfriend Greg."

Flashback

It was summertime. Max and Kyle had become friends because they worked in the same restaurant as waiters. It was the summer before Max's senior year of college. Max and Kyle had just walked through the door of Kyle's parents house. Just then Darrian was coming down the stairs.

"Mom says you have to clean the pool." She said as she reached the bottom of the stairs. Max was instantly struck by her beauty, her long black hair and especially her dark brown eyes.

"Oh hi." She said noticing Max.

"Hi."

"Max this is my sister Darrian." Kyle said. "Darrian this is my friend Max."

"It's nice to meet you Max." She said smiling at him. To him her smile made her even more beautiful then she already was.

"It's nice to meet you to." Max said. They shook hands. There was an instant electricity between them. He could tell she was attracted to him to.

"Well I have to go." She went out the front door.

"She seems nice." Max said.

"She's cool most of the time." Kyle said.
"Is she in college to?"

"She's seventeen." "She's starting her senior year in high school this fall."

"Oh.""Damn it I guess asking her out is out of the question." "She's too young." He thought.
