The next day, Aurora found herself once again in the library, her sanctuary amidst the chaos of Hogwarts. Exams were looming, and she was determined to keep her position as one of the top students in her year. The pressure was relentless, but it was nothing new to her. Being a Black meant she had been raised with high expectations, and she was determined to meet them.

She sat at one of the far tables, surrounded by towering stacks of books and rolls of parchment. Her quill scratched steadily across a piece of parchment as she diligently took notes, her brow furrowed in concentration. The dim light of the library lanterns flickered above her, casting long shadows over the pages she was reading. The other students around her were engrossed in their own studies, and the quiet murmur of turning pages and the occasional cough were the only sounds that broke the silence.

As she bent over her work, she was only vaguely aware of the figure approaching her table. It wasn't until Theo Nott casually dropped into the seat beside her that she looked up, slightly startled but quickly recovering with a smile. Theo's presence was always welcome, even if it did threaten to disrupt her focus.

"Still at it, I see," Theo remarked with a playful smirk as he leaned back in his chair, watching her with those sharp, mischievous eyes. "After all these years of being the best student, how are you not tired?"

Aurora met his gaze with a small, knowing smile. "In the Black family, we don't know the word 'tired,'" she replied, though there was a trace of weariness in her voice. The truth was, she was tired, exhausted, really but she would never admit it outright. To do so would be to show weakness, and that was something she had been taught to avoid at all costs.

Theo studied her for a moment, his eyes narrowing slightly as he took in her appearance. Her usually immaculate hair was slightly disheveled, strands falling into her eyes, and there were dark circles beneath those eyes, evidence of too many late nights spent poring over books. Even so, she maintained that air of poise and determination that he admired so much.

"You look tired," he observed quietly, his voice softening as he reached out to brush a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "You need to take a break, Aurora."

Aurora shrugged, her eyes flicking back to the notes in front of her. "I'll rest when I'm done," she murmured, though even she wasn't sure how much longer she could keep going without collapsing from sheer exhaustion.

Theo wasn't having any of it. He scooted his chair closer to hers, the wood scraping softly against the stone floor. Without warning, he leaned in and began planting soft kisses across her face, her forehead, her cheeks, even the tip of her nose. Aurora couldn't help but chuckle at his affectionate onslaught, the sound muffled as she tried to stifle it. She pushed him lightly, but her resistance was half-hearted at best.

"Stop it, you're distracting me," she whispered, though there was no real conviction in her words. In truth, Theo's attention was a welcome distraction from the endless stream of information she was trying to cram into her brain.

Theo pulled back slightly, his expression playful as he looked at her. "You need a distraction," he countered, his tone suggestive. "I could take your stress away, you know."

Aurora's heart skipped a beat at the implication behind his words, her cheeks flushing slightly. She knew exactly what he was suggesting, and while the idea was tempting, they were in the middle of the library, surrounded by other students. The risk was too great.

"Theo," she began, lowering her voice as she glanced around the library, "people would hear us."

Theo's smirk widened, his eyes darkening with mischief. "Then I guess you'll have to stay quiet," he whispered, his breath warm against her ear as he leaned in closer.

Before Aurora could respond, Theo's lips found her neck, pressing soft, lingering kisses along her skin. She closed her eyes, biting her lip to keep from making any noise. Her heart pounded in her chest as his hand slipped under the table, moving up her thigh and beneath her skirt. She gasped softly as his fingers found their way to her most sensitive spot, stroking her through her underwear.

Theo's touch was skilled and deliberate, his fingers teasing her with agonizing slowness. Aurora's breathing grew shallow as she fought to keep her composure, her mind torn between the desire to give in to the pleasure he was offering and the fear of being caught. Her grip on the edge of the table tightened as he slipped his fingers past the barrier of her underwear, stroking her directly.

Her body responded to his touch instantly, a wave of heat coursing through her. She bit down harder on her lip, her nails digging into the wood of the table as she struggled to remain silent. Theo's lips continued to work their magic on her neck, his teeth grazing her skin in a way that made her shiver.

Just as she was nearing the edge, her body trembling with anticipation, Theo suddenly pulled away. He withdrew his hand, leaving her on the brink of release, her body aching with unfulfilled desire. Before she could protest, he kissed her on the forehead, his lips lingering for a moment before he stood up.

Aurora stared up at him, her breath coming in short, uneven gasps as she tried to process what had just happened. Theo's expression was one of smug satisfaction as he straightened his robes, clearly pleased with himself.

As he turned to leave the library, Aurora's voice found her, low and threatening, but with a playful edge. "You'll pay for that, Theo."

Theo glanced back at her, a devilish grin on his face as he winked. "I'm counting on it," he replied before disappearing between the rows of bookshelves, leaving Aurora to finish her studies with a mix of frustration and anticipation.

Aurora sat there for a moment longer, her mind still reeling from the intensity of what had just transpired. Slowly, she forced herself to refocus on her notes, though the words on the page seemed to blur together. The lingering sensation of Theo's touch made it impossible to concentrate, and she knew that she would be thinking about this encounter for the rest of the day.
