The next couple of days passed in a haze of reckless passion for Theo and Aurora. Their desire for each other seemed insatiable, and they found themselves wrapped up in each other's arms in nearly every room of the vast estate they shared. The allure of danger, the thrill of being Death Eaters under the Dark Lord's command, only seemed to heighten their appetite for one another. Each encounter was more intense than the last, as if they were trying to outrun the darkness that surrounded them.
It was on one such day, in the grand banqueting room of the manor, that they found themselves once again lost in the throes of passion. Clothing was hastily discarded, and the air was thick with the scent of sweat and lust.
Suddenly, without warning, the cold, menacing presence of the Dark Lord filled the room. The temperature seemed to drop instantly as he materialized out of the shadows, his pale face twisted in a fury that sent chills down both their spines.
Voldemort's voice cut through the air like a knife. "So this is what you indulge in while I am trying to reach out to you both?"
Theo and Aurora froze, their eyes wide with shock and fear. The passion that had consumed them moments ago was replaced by a paralyzing dread. They scrambled to cover themselves, reaching for their discarded clothing with shaking hands.
"My Lord," Theo stammered, his voice betraying his fear. "It's not what it looks like... it was just a misunderstanding."
But Voldemort was not in the mood for excuses. With a flick of his wand, he cast the Cruciatus Curse on Theo. The pain hit him like a tidal wave, his body convulsing as he screamed in agony. Aurora watched, horrified, as her lover writhed on the floor, powerless to help him.
"Silence!" Voldemort hissed, his red eyes burning with rage. He turned his gaze to Aurora, who had managed to regain some composure despite the terror that gripped her heart. "And you, Aurora... what do you have to say for yourself?"
Aurora, determined not to show weakness, straightened her back and met his gaze boldly. "We didn't receive your calls, my Lord," she said, her voice steady despite the fear gnawing at her insides. "Now that you're here, we can discuss whatever it is you need from us."
Voldemort's expression darkened even further. He moved toward her with deliberate slowness, the hem of his dark robes whispering against the floor. When he reached her, he grabbed her by the hair, yanking her head back so that she was forced to look up at him.
"The next time you decide to ignore me, I suggest you think twice," he snarled, his voice low and deadly.
Aurora winced but did not break eye contact. The pain was intense, but she refused to let him see how much it affected her. After what felt like an eternity, Voldemort released his grip on her hair, pushing her away with a sneer.
He turned on his heel and left the room without another word, his robes billowing out behind him like a dark cloud. The oppressive atmosphere lingered long after he had gone, leaving the room in an eerie silence.
Aurora rushed to Theo's side, dropping to her knees beside him. He was still breathing heavily, the aftershocks of the curse making him tremble. She cupped his face in her hands, her touch gentle and reassuring.
"Are you alright?" she asked softly, her voice full of concern.
Theo nodded weakly, trying to sit up. "I'll be fine," he managed to say, though his voice was hoarse. "We need to be more careful, Aurora. The Dark Lord... he's not someone we can afford to anger."
Aurora nodded in agreement, her mind racing. They needed to get out of there, to regroup and figure out their next move. "We should go to Malfoy Manor," she suggested. "We can find out what's going on."
