By the time Saturday came around, Elijah had a mountain of homework, four prefect shifts to cover and Quidditch practice to attend and lead. His hand ached dully, he'd wrapped it up to hide it from his friends and other professors, not wanting to add on another issue to deal with onto his already heaping plate.

He woke up early to slip away to the library, getting through as much homework as he could before his first prefect shift, timing it so he'd avoid his friends. It wasn't like there was anything any of them could do to help, or anyone they could tell that would come and fight his corner. Harry had stopped using the quill by Wednesday, so he gathered that his parents or someone had written in to help save his ass. Still, Umbridge didn't seem to stop her torment on him. Perhaps she knew there was no one he could write to help him. It didn't matter, what was an extra scar?

"So, have you been told much about the Azkaban mission?" Amber asked quietly, as they both monitored the halls.

There had been several brawls that they had broken up, and Amber had given several Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors detentions for some of the most ridiculous things, but Elijah knew better than to question her authority when she was on a power trip.

"No." Elijah sighed, really not in the mood to discuss Death Eater business nkw... Or ever really, but that was another matter.

Of course though, he did know all about the plans that were to take place, and that he'd most likely be involved in it, but that was something to worry about nearer to Christmas Break.

"Well, my father says it should take place just after Christmas." She said smugly, as if letting Elijah in on top secrets.

"Fascinating." He replied sarcastically, shaking his head.

"You don't seem excited. Do you not know what this means?" Amber asked, "Honestly, I don't even know why they are keeping you around. If it wasn't for you being the werewolves little whore..."

"I know what it means, having more people-" Elijah stopped, gripping Ambers arm tightly. "Wait, wait.. Back track there, what the fuck are you suggesting?"

"I'm not suggesting anything, my father told me. I mean, it makes sense, you did live with that other one. Greyback is probably just taking his place." She shrugged, tugging her arm out of Elijah's grasp as she glared at him.

"Remus wasn't- I'm not-" he clenched his hand into a fist. "Amber, this information can't get out around school."

A smirk stretched across the girls face. "I know, that's the idea. I was given that information to keep you in line for everyone back home. For somebody so smart you really catch on late to the idea of blackmail."

Elijah clenched his jaw tightly. Was it just everyone's mission to test his last nerve? Was the idea to send him completely insane?

"So just make sure you keep away from The Chosen One, and any little Lions. No playing nice with those below us, we need to spread our masters message. Got it, sugar?" Amber said sweetly, patting Elijah's cheek patronisingly.

"You forget yourself, Amber." He hissed, stepping closer, "I'm not a Death Eater because of some little trick I pulled, but because of what I can do-"

"Yet, you are on a very tight leash, are you not?" She questioned, "So be a good boy, and do as instructed or my father will tell our Lord everything. Do you hear me?"
