Narrator:

Killer was deep in thought, undecided whether he should delve further into the complex relationship between Nightmare and Ccino or not. Before he could ask another question, Ccino appeared with the orders on a tray, his body moving with excitement.

"Here you go!" He exclaimed, placing the tray on the table and placing each dish in front of its owners "I hope you like it" he professed with a radiant smile.

Killer sipped some of his latte, admiring the small figure of a cat drawn in the foam. Was that the specialty of the house? He considered it a detail that looked quite simple, but how detailed the figure was left him amazed.

"So...why are you so excited, Ccino?" The nightmare asked, noticing that he was more enthusiastic than normal.

Ccino blinked rapidly, his pupils shining with excitement.

"New customer means new fluffy friend!" he exclaimed, his voice full of joy.

Killer frowned, confused. "Fluffy friend?" he repeated.

Before he could ask anything else, a night-black cat emerged from a door. It was an unusual cat, with four tails that moved gracefully and fur so thick that it completely covered its right eye. Their visible eye, of an intense and almost translucent blue, observed him with a sharp gaze.

The killer could not take his view off the animal. There was something eerily familiar about that black cat, beyond its unusual appearance. His aura was heavy, almost oppressive, as if he carried many secrets with him. And then, he noticed:

The cat was the spitting image of Nightmare! It was as if someone had taken a photograph of the skeleton and transformed it into a feline.

Nightmare let out a small laugh at Killer's obvious confusion.

"Looks like you already figured it out" he commented with a mischievous smile.

Ccino, for his part, seemed delighted with Killer's reaction. "I'll explain" he said, an excited gleam in his pupils. "This cafeteria is full of cats"

The one with the empty sockets didn't understand what the fact that this was a cat cafe had to do with the cat that just appeared being the spitting image of his boss. But now he understood why he asked him if he liked cats before they left the castle together.

''Well, not just any kind of cats. These are... how should I say it?... feline versions of the sans I know" he explained.

Killer blinked, still processing the information.

"Feline versions?" he repeated, perplexed. "You mean every time you meet a sans, a cat that looks like him shows up?" he asked stunned.

Ccino nodded enthusiastically.

"Exactly. We call them Fluffys. This is the fluffy version of Nightmare. He's a little... quirky, but he's very loyal" he stated.

Killer stared at the feline with a mixture of amazement and amusement. If Nightmare had his cat version, that meant that a cat with the same appearance as him would soon appear. He wondered what kind of cat his feline version would become. Would it be an animal without feelings like him? Or would it be more of a playful and energetic cat? The idea made him smile curiously.

Ccino suddenly took the fluffy in his arms and lifted him up, turning around and around with him.

"You'll have a new companion soon, Fluffy Grumpy" he said to the cat, his voice full of excitement. "A very special companion" The fluffy looked at him with a confused expression, tilting his head to the side. "You'll have to teach him the rules of this place," Ccino continued, unfazed by the cat's lack of response. "And most importantly: how to play with yarn balls!" he professed happily. After a while of fun, he calmed down.
