"𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞? 𝐁𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭," Emiliana asked Nathan as she held up the book he was supposed to read for French.

"I rented the movie," he shrugged.

The two were in Emiliana's bedroom. Today's conquest was tackling French and so far, Emiliana was unsuccessful.

Emiliana rolled her eyes. "Well, I guess someone has to be a janitor."

"Very funny, Emi," Nathan glared. "I have too much going on to worry about some dumb book."

"Speaking of, how was therapy? I'm dying to know the details," she chuckled. "Any chance you can get a hold of the security tapes?"

"It was worse than whatever you're imagining," Nathan groaned. "My parents just argued the whole time. I had to walk here because they were fighting over who was gonna drive me."

"You know, anytime my parents are getting on my nerves, once I hear your stories, I remember I literally have the best parents," she sighed.

"Yeah, it must be nice not having a dysfunctional family," Nathan replied. "The shrink asked me if I even wanted to play basketball. I didn't know what to say. No one's ever asked me that before."

"If you start reading these books, you'll have something other than basketball going for you," Emiliana teased.

"Not gonna happen," he stated. "The janitor thing might be fun."

"Yeah, a real chick magnet too," she added.

"Even better," Nathan laughed before becoming serious again. "I haven't thanked you for helping me out. I would be flunking out of everything right now, if it weren't for you."

"I know," Emiliana grinned. "Although, I think you're mostly doing it yourself. I mean, I can barely ever get you focused when we do this."

Nathan shook his head, a soft smile on his face. "It's all you, Em."

"You could have told me Travis was a group," Brooke scowled at Peyton.

Peyton had given Brooke a CD to give to Lucas. Clearly, Brooke blew it, considering she was beating herself up over it at cheer practice.

"It's not like it's some big secret," Peyton chuckled.

"Lucas gave me the weirdest look when I said that. I felt so stupid," she cringed
