"So I hear you're no longer a passenger princess, Coop," Brooke spoke as the girls stood on their usual side of the gym, cheering.
"You heard right," Emiliana grinned. "I'm much better than I thought. I just had to get over the nerves."

Lucas and Nathan were at the River Court, practicing for the playoffs like they'd done every other day this week.
After they decided to take a break, a car pulled up. The boys looked at the silver Porsche that merely missed the basketball hoop as it parked.
Emiliana jumped out of the car, not bothering to close the door as she ran over to Nathan excitedly.
"I did it, Nate! I passed," she squealed, waving around her license.
Nathan grinned widely as Emiliana jumped into his arms. "That's awesome, Emi! I'm so proud of you."
"Uh, Emili, the car's not in park," Lucas spoke, pointing to the car that was moving slightly.
"Oh, oops." Emiliana pulled out of Nathan's embrace, running over to the car and putting in park. She didn't miss the way the boys shared exasperated looks. "You boys wanna ride?" The boys started trying to come up with excuses, causing Emiliana to roll her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Get in here."
Nathan and Lucas reluctantly walked over to the car. "You can sit in the front, Luke," Nathan told him, patting his back.
Emiliana glared at Nathan as Lucas looked at him worriedly, before hesitantly climbing into the passenger seat.
Emiliana smiled at Nathan through the rearview mirror. "Before we go, the gas is on the right and the brake is the left, right? I always get them mixed up," she chuckled, looking between the brothers.
Nathan nodded slowly as Lucas immediately jumped out, climbing into the backseat with Nathan.
Without any warning, Emiliana slammed on the gas, causing the boys to launch backwards in their seats roughly, struggling to sit back up.
