"Brooke? What are you doing?" Emiliana asked her, looking at the poster of an ill girl with the caption 'Give Generously' and the plastic jar Brooke was holding with the same picture on it.

"Just raising some money," she shrugged.

"For what?"

Brooke ignored Emiliana and continued to try to get other students' attention. "Come on, pony up, people! There's kids in this world a lot more miserable than you!" Brooke smiled when a girl put some money in the jar. "Thank you. God bless."

"Okay, clearly I'm missing something here," Emiliana muttered.

Another guy who was walking by also stopped to put some money in the jar. "God bless you," Brooke smiled. Peyton and Haley approached the two girls, looking just as confused as Emiliana. "Change for the needy?" Brooke asked them, shaking the jar.

"Brooke, I had no idea you were so... charitable. What's the cause?" Haley asked.

"Just needy people," Brooke replied vaguely.

Peyton rolled her eyes in amusement. "Brooke, I recognize the photo. It's from an ad for cramp medicine."

Emiliana and Haley looked at Brooke, waiting for an explanation. "Wow! Homeless and PMSing, poor girl," Brooke said.

"Brooke!"

"Alright, the money's for me," she admitted. "I'm the needy one, as in I need some things for your club opening."

Peyton's all ages club, Tric, was finally opening. "Um, I don't think you can do that," Emiliana chuckled.

Brooke smiled sheepishly. "Sort of, but you know, what am I supposed to do for money?"

"Try getting a job," Peyton suggested, laughing.

"Right, doing what?" Brooke scoffed.

"Anything, a number of things. What are your skills?" Haley asked her.

Brooke paused. "I dunno. I'm good with guys. Dates, dating."

"Yeah, and?"

"Sex, but..." she trailed off.

"That would make you a hooker," Emiliana told her. Brooke shrugged carelessly, not seeming opposed to the idea. "Don't worry. I'll take you shopping on a budget."
