𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞. A whirlwind of things had gone down recently in Tree Hill.

For starters, Keith had been dating this girl named Jules. The two quickly got engaged and then on their wedding day, she left him at the altar. Apparently Dan had paid Jules to get Keith to fall in love with her and then break his heart. So obviously that went to hell.

To make matters worse, Nicki was back in town, looking to get custody of Jenny again. And to top everything off, Brooke will be moving to California in a week due to her dad's new job.

Emiliana, Peyton and Brooke walked slowly down the halls, disappointed about Brooke.

"I can't believe this is almost our last time walking to class together," Peyton pouted.

"I can't believe I'm getting weepy about walking to class," Brooke added sadly.

The three girls pulled each other into a group hug, clinging onto one another. "What is Tree Hill without B. Davis?" Emiliana frowned.

"I feel like somebody needs to yell out 'Dead girl walking'!" Brooke exclaimed.

Sensing a presence behind her, Emiliana turned around to see a frizzy haired guy with glasses staring at Brooke. "Band geek staring! God!"

The girls laughed as they walked away from the random guy. "I just, I can't imagine what it would be like to not have you to talk to everyday." Peyton turned to Brooke and pointed at her. "I'm gonna get you a webcam. That way it'll be like you're living with me."

Peyton opened her locker as Brooke thought about what she just said. "Or... I could just live with you."

Peyton's face lit up at the idea. "You could!"

"Ooh, then Brooke wouldn't have to leave!" Emiliana squealed.

"Yeah!"

"You can. You spend most of your time at my house anyway," Peyton smiled.

"This is such a good idea, I'm so excited. I'm gonna find a phone and call my mom," Brooke said excitedly.

"Why not just use your cell?" Emiliana asked.

"Uh, my parents put me on that 'pay as you go' plan. I haven't paid-"

Emiliana rolled her eyes and handed her phone to Brooke. "Then go." Brooke hesitated. "Go!"

As Anna approached Peyton, Emiliana left to give the girls privacy. Emiliana went outside to the courtyard, where Brooke had just gone to call her mom.
