The two had spent the night lost in each other, and now, in the quiet of the late night, the intimacy between them was palpable. Nathan's arm draped lazily over her waist, holding her close as if he never wanted to let go.
"I could stay like this forever," Emiliana murmured softly. Her leg was hooked over his, and she tilted her head to look up at him with a dreamy smile.
Nathan's hand trailed lazily up her back, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips. "Who says we can't?" he teased, his voice low and husky. He leaned down, pressing a kiss to her forehead, and then to her lips, the softness of it making Emiliana's heart skip.
"Well, for starters," she said with a chuckle, running her fingers through his hair, "those boxes all over the apartment are driving me crazy. You need to unpack."
Nathan groaned, rolling his eyes playfully as he tightened his grip around her. "I'd rather be doing this than unpacking," he muttered against her lips before pulling her in for another slow, lingering kiss.
Emiliana laughed softly into the kiss but soon found herself melting into him, her hands roaming across his chest, feeling the familiar rush of warmth between them. She pulled back slightly, eyes gleaming with mischief. "You know, you can't avoid it forever. It's not like the boxes are just going to disappear."
Nathan's lips curved into a smirk as he shifted, pushing Emiliana gently onto her back, hovering over her as his hands wandered down her sides. "Wanna bet?" he whispered, his voice playful but laced with desire. His lips found the soft spot on her neck, making her gasp lightly as he kissed his way down her collarbone.
Her breath hitched as his teasing touches grew more deliberate, each one sending little shocks of electricity through her body. "You're impossible," she murmured, though the amusement in her voice betrayed how much she was enjoying this.
Nathan pulled back just enough to look at her, his eyes dark with affection and heat. "I think we both know you'd rather be doing this too."
Emiliana opened her mouth to protest, but before she could get a word out, Nathan captured her lips again, the kiss deepening as the heat between them intensified. She responded eagerly, her hands tangling in his hair, pulling him closer as the world outside his apartment faded into the background.
Time seemed to slip away as they lost themselves in each other, the closeness between them more than just physical. Every touch, every kiss, felt like a reaffirmation of how deeply they were connected. Emiliana's body hummed with warmth as Nathan's hands explored her, and the sound of her soft breaths and his murmured name filled the quiet room.
Eventually, they broke apart, both of them catching their breath. Nathan lay back beside her, pulling Emiliana into his chest, his hand gently stroking her hair. She smiled, feeling completely at peace in the safety of his arms.
