𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞'𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞. Apparently her mom had just sold her bed without consulting Brooke first. So in desperate need to make some money, Brooke enlisted Emiliana and Haley's help with selling her CDs to the record store.
The girls got out of Brooke's car, that was parked on the street, as Brooke held the box of CDs.
Haley laughed at Brooke's lack of knowledge on getting money. "Anyway, so you take the CDs that you're sick of or never should have bought in the first place and you bring them back and they-"
"And they give me cash?" Brooke finished.
"Yeah."
"Maybe I can buy my bed back," she laughed.
"Okay, so onto important matters," Emiliana spoke. "Nathan is going on a road trip tonight with Lucas to Charlotte for a Bobcats game. I was thinking we should have a sleepover at his apartment. I already ran it by him and he's cool with it."
Brooke gasped in excitement. "Oh my God, we haven't done that since, like, junior high."
"I know!"
Haley looked reluctant. "I dunno. I haven't done that since... ever," she chuckled.
"You've never been to a slumber party?" Emiliana asked her in surprise.
"I wasn't popular in junior high," Haley shrugged.
"No! Then we have to. This is like a rite of passage. I mean, when did you learn to put on eye shadow and stuff your bra and make out?" Brooke rambled.
"I don't know," she smiled.
"Alright, it's okay. I'll call Peyton and the four of us will have a girls night. We'll catch you up, don't worry," Emiliana told her.
"Well, look I-I was kinda looking forward to having a night alone. My parents are gone for the weekend," Haley said.
"And I was kinda looking forward to *NSYNC getting back together but we all adjust don't we?" Emiliana remarked.
"She had a crazy obsession over them," Brooke told Haley. "All she could ever talk about was Justin Timberlake and the fact that her parents managed to get him to sign a poster for her that said 'God must have spent a little more time on you'. She was crushed when he and Britney were together. It was annoying."
