𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
emiliana cooper is considered tree hill's golden girl. she's a materialized it girl, every girl wants to be her and every guy wants to be with her. whether she's at a party or showing her school spirit by cheering alongside her best friends, brooke davis and peyton sawyer, at basketball games, she's always the star of the show. her looks aren't the only thing that are perfection, emiliana happens to be the top of her class and not to mention she has a heart of gold. it's impossible not to envy the girl as her life is the definition of perfect. perfect grades, perfect hair and a perfect, happy family, which let's face it, is quite rare in tree hill.
nathan scott is considered tree hill's elite basketball player. other guys strive to play on his level. the ravens wouldn't stand a chance without him. he has that stereotypical bad boy, jock personality. however, unlike emiliana, nathan's life is far from perfect. he has a sociopathic father who takes basketball to a whole new level, a mother who is on business trips ninety percent of the time, likely to get away from her husband and an estranged half brother due to his father abandoning him to raise nathan instead. so while nathan just seems like an egotistical jerk to most people, they don't realize there's more to the story.
emiliana and nathan have known each other since the first grade. naturally, they became friends over time. they maybe aren't best friends per se, but they have definitely shared some good memories together. now the whole captain of the cheer squad and star basketball player, high school sweethearts is a total cliche, yet it becomes a reality. together, emiliana and nathan discover things about one another that no one else knows and grow a special bond, which leads to a romance that'll go down in history.
