As Emerald emerges from within me, a wave of panic and despair engulfs my senses, threatening to pull me into the depths of unconsciousness.

"Emerald, NOOO~" I scream at him, my voice laced with desperation and anguish, desperately pleading for him to reconsider his actions. My heart races, pounding against my chest with a mix of fear and fury as he approaches Cassandra, a surge of protectiveness welling up within me.

"Just take me to the Medic Room," I tell him, my voice strained yet filled with a resolute determination.

Through the haze of pain and confusion, I lock eyes with Emerald, silently conveying my unspoken directive. It is a bittersweet moment, as much as I yearn for Cassandra's demise, I cannot allow him to tarnish his hands with such a heinous act.

A twisted mix of sadistic satisfaction and a desire for vengeance consumes my thoughts. I want them to suffer, to experience the searing agony of loss before I enact my ultimate retribution. The intensity of my emotions is palpable, a tempest brewing within me, fueled by a burning desire to make them understand the depths of pain that comes with losing loved ones.

Emerald listens to me, his actions guided by an unspoken understanding. There is a flicker of resignation in his eyes, a shared acknowledgment of the path we have chosen. It is a tumultuous alliance, bound by a mutual desire for justice and a hunger for retribution.

"What happened to you?" gasps the Nurse Mage, her voice laced with shock and concern as she takes in the sight of my battered body. My gaze meets hers, a mix of determination and defiance shining through. I am unable to comprehend how I managed to survive the onslaught of Cassandra's relentless stabs, but a glimmer of realization dawns upon me. There must be a greater purpose, a reason why I still draw breath in this world.

Through the pain and uncertainty, a newfound resolve takes hold. Perhaps it is not my time to fade away just yet. Perhaps there is a destiny awaiting me, a mission to fulfill. The depths of my emotions swirl within me, a potent cocktail of determination, resilience, and a burning determination to leave an indelible mark on the students of Keimusho Academy.

And so, with every breath I take, I am fueled by an unwavering determination to teach them a lesson they will never forget.

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling groggy and disoriented.

The Nurse Mage beside me let out a relieved sigh. "Finally, you're awake!"

Relief washed over me as her words registered. "How long have I been sleeping?" I asked anxiously. I was convinced that I had been unconscious for weeks.

She glanced at her wristwatch, her expression thoughtful. "You didn't sleep for weeks, just about 6 hours."

A mixture of surprise and confusion filled me. "What time is it?" I inquired, trying to get a sense of the current situation.

"It's 8:36 in the evening," she replied, her voice calm and reassuring.

I slowly rose from my bed, feeling weak and unsteady on my feet.

"Please, don't move yet. Your wounds might reopen," she cautioned, concern evident in her tone.

The realization of my injuries hit me once again, and I couldn't help but wonder aloud, "How did I survive? I thought I was going to die. I couldn't even count how many stab wounds I received."
