Meggy x Mario can't work when you take into an account meggy seeing him as a brother and mario seeing her a sister, despite him never saying it. Throwing out the fact, meggy confirmed she sees him as a brother, they have several scenes where they act like siblings, literally every episode where they interact feels like siblings, i have siblings and 50% of the time we act like meggy and mario, the other 50% is spent ignoring each other.
