~First Year~

I sat at my seat at the Hufflepuff table after being sorted. I watch people cheer and clap when students are placed in their houses. My eyes wander to a blonde-haired boy who looks like he is putting up a confident persona. He sat at the Slytherin table. I knew his name was Draco Malfoy and he seemed nice enough. I'm brought out of my thoughts by a person shaking me.

"Why are you staring at Draco Malfoy?" My sister S/n asks.

"Oh... um... I don't know... he seems nice," I say looking back at the blonde-haired boy.

"Don't, his parents are total blood-status freaks, so don't bother," S/n says and I nod.

"Yeah okay," I say, not paying too much attention to what she was saying.

I walk up the stairs of the astronomy tower wanting to clear my mind. Sorting was a few months ago and I can't get Draco Malfoy out of my mind. I stood at the railing and watched the stars twinkle. I came here every night. Staring at the stars made me smile and my mind clear. Tonight was no different. I smiled as I counted the constellations I could find. The highest I've found is six, which was on a clear and dark night. Tonight I couldn't see any. Making me wonder why. With no constellations to admire my mind thought back to what I was thinking about on the way here. Draco Malfoy. I sighed as I sat down and closed my eyes. I am only brought out of my thoughts when I hear footsteps climbing the stairs. I look at my watch and see I've been here longer than normal. I look behind me and shock fills my face as I see Draco Malfoy standing in the entrance.

"Hello," I say before turning and looking at the stars.

"What are you doing here?" Draco asks.

"I come here every night. I'm usually gone by now but... I lost track of time tonight. Why are you here?" I ask.

"I come here to clear my head," Draco says. I nod and look at him.

"Me too," I say staring into his eyes.

"I'll leave if you'd like..." I say simply going to stand up.

"No, it's okay. You can stay," Draco says shrugging.

"Okay," I say before settling back down. He sits beside me with a small smile.

"Hey, you're named after a constellation aren't you?" I ask and he nods.

"It's a tradition according to my mother," Draco says. I nod smiling.

"I was just named a random name my parents liked. I wish I had a meaning behind it," I say laughing a little.

"Your name is Y/n isn't it?" Draco asks.

"Yeah... I didn't think you'd know that," I say and Draco shrugs.

"I've seen you in a few classes..." Draco says and I smile nodding.

"Do you know the meaning of your name?" I ask and he shakes his head. "It means Dragon or serpent depending on whether you think the Latin or Greek translation. It's also on the school crest," I explain.

"I knew it was on the crest, I didn't know it meant dragon though. Do you know what the crest  translates to?" Draco asks and I nod.

"The Hogwarts crest says 'Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus' which is Latin for 'Never tickle a sleeping Dragon'," I say shrugging.
